The staff here was awesome, Virginia at the front desk being a standout. They were friendly and joked around in a way that I appreciated, they appeared to enjoy being there. Fantastic breakfast with a comfortable room

Exceeded Expectations: A Cozy Retreat for the Whol

The hotel was a pleasant surprise — the rooms were in excellent condition, far better than I expected. I had anticipated something more formal or perhaps even unwelcoming for families, but this place felt very inviting and comfortable for me and my family. The beds were comfortable, and the overall state of the hotel was impressive. The TV offered a wide variety of channels that suited all of us, which added to the positive experience. Breakfast was well presented and delicious. The only small challenge was finding a table, as the hotel was fully booked — but even that didn’t take away from the great experience. The coffee and bread were especially good, and everything served for breakfast was satisfying. Even in the evening, when we ordered pizza, the quality was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel — it truly exceeded our expectations.

Though the hotel was good and the staff was very friendly I don't understand why you have to pay DK34 for a coffee even if you have payed 170 EURO for a room. Most of all other hotels have free coffee.

Unprofessional and greedy - avoid if you expect basic service I booked four rooms at Scandic Glostrup for my team during an event at Musikteatret. Due to a change in our schedule, I politely asked the hotel if it was possible to cancel two of the rooms with a refund. They refused, saying the rooms were “non-refundable.” I know very well that hotels can make exceptions when they choose to, especially for returning guests. But here, there was no willingness to help at all. When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist even asked if I hadn’t already cancelled the rooms - which clearly shows how poorly they communicate internally. I explained that I never confirmed any cancellation since they refused to refund anything. I was even told that “it costs them money to cancel” because the booking was made via Hotels.com - a weak excuse, considering they could easily have refunded the remaining amount after their own fee. No reply, no flexibility, no sense of customer care. Just silence and the full charge kept. I organize events across Scandinavia several times a year and have stayed at many hotels. This one stands out for all the wrong reasons. We will not be returning.

Unfortunately this hotel does not open its restaurant on the weekend which meant that guests had to order in food or look else where for dinner. The check in staff were as helpful as they could be in trying to help get guests some food. The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff generally helpful. Unfortunately this hotel does not have air conditioning and this makes the rooms very uncomfortable during the summer as the rooms do not cool down overnight. A portable fan is provided that helped a bit to cool the room down but still not sleep comfortably at 3am without sweating. The room was clean but the internet in the hotel was poor.
