"We loved our night at Independence Stay. We look forward to returning for a longer stay. Young lady at the front desk on check in was great! professional, patient and very helpful with information. Complimentary water and snacks were welcome. The room,or should I say suite,,was clean and impressive. The huge bathtub was worthy of a long relaxing soak after a long day of travel.Had a pleasant chat with the man hard at work manning the breakfast kitchen and dining area. Coffee was hot and fresh, we took an extra cup for the road. Left us wishing all other hotels set the same standards of hospitality. You run a great Hotel/ extended stay property… Thank you!"

"This place was like a mini mansion. It is so big I often got turned around. We had so much fun. The pool was just right and the fire pit was where we all gathered in the evening. The kitchen was amazing! We were all able to cook without getting in each other’s way. It was so much fun reconnecting with family. One of the two coffee pots leaked water all over the buffet and there are some loose bricks on the front steps. Over all we loved it and would recommend this place as a great getaway."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Little Blue Cottage. The setting is wonderful - peaceful and quiet with several tranquil outdoor spots to simply relax and take in the lake, flowers and birds. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and nicely accommodated. This location provided us with a very pleasant "home base" from which to explore the wonders of Door County."
