The room was clean, slightly dated. The instructions for check-in were very clear. However, the keypad was not functioning and the code for the lock box was incorrect. The staff quickly moved us to another room which we were able to enter with no problem.

Absolutely an excellent room. One of the best mattresses I have ever slept on! Great bar with Keuri coffee maker, coffee pods, real creamer, etc. Microwave and a sink! Great TV with Tubi for movies. Only negative, they need to update the outside!

We have 2 dogs (FREE, no extra charges) .great facility, clean ,good deal for the buck. Lots of grass for dogs. But would like tea offered, as per the great coffee in-room.

Great spot

Very good location for a one night stay on a longer drive. The hotel itself has been updated and the rooms are nice generally. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the building has a beautiful view of the mountains. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Bait and Switch Motel

My family and I planned a trip to ride the Blue Ridge Railway. We came across this motel and from the pictures it looked like a great and clean place the stay. I’m sorry to say we were disappointed and the actual motel looks nothing like the pictures. Its description says nice things but it isn’t true. The only thing nice I can say is that it was mostly quiet. I unfortunately was not able to get any type of refund and will not be staying again.

Don't judge too quick

If you have heard the old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" this place is what it refers to. From the outside you would almost think the property is shut down, however when you open your room it is beautiful. And checking in couldn’t be easier, it is like a VRBO.

Cleaner then some ppl houses, could use some renovation but as far as the 1 bedroom very spacious just bring your own drinks.

Room was great. But outside if hotel needs some tender loving care. Key code would not work after several attempts customer service got us another room. Bed was comfy and room was clean

Suggestions

The room could have used more than 1 trash can only one was in bathroom and room had dust on bottom vanity and cabinet . Overall a pretty good place for the price
