"We were in CR for 2.5 weeks and stayed at several places - this was our favorite place. Staff is super friendly, helpful and welcoming and the owners, Sebastian and Kristoff are great hosts who are involved and make sure their guests are taken care of. The food is delicious - Mediterranean meets Costa rican. The location is gorgeous and the property is truly unique. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending. "

"Nice large clean room with balcony overlooking tropical vegetation. Appreciated the washer and dryer in the room. Breakfast choices were good and enjoyed the nice clean pool. Good location in Drake Bay, within walking distance to several restaurants and the beach."

"When we arrived Mauricio greeted us, helped us check in, and also upgraded our room to the second level for free. The room is super big and clean. There’s a balcony and from it you can see/hear monkeys, macaws, parrots, iguanas, and so many more animals. We were also able to get reservations to Corcovado National Park through the person at the reception desk. At the end of the trip we were also able to get reception to call us a taxi within 5 minutes of needing it. It was a lovely hotel with friendly staff too. "

"Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. It is very easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach and we saw wildlife from our window everyday. There were even cappuchins playing on the roof. We loved our stay in Drake Bay and it was made very easy by staying at Hotel Villa Drake. "

"We were greeted warmly by the day manager as our boat arrived. She told us we were being given an upgrade with a lovely ocean view. They went out of their way to help us including a very early breakfast before leaving for an overnight stay at La Sirena. Really appreciated the extra help."

"My husband and I found this property that was right in the beach. You can hear the waves you are that close. We took walks on the beach and Kenneth helped set up the scuba and snorkel trip we too that picked us up on the beach !! We had a room with outdoor kitchen and balcony with hammock and a view of the ocean. We would return to the same room if we visit Drake Nay again !!"

"The room at Jacamar was very nice and exceptionally clean. It was especially nice to have the big balcony. Dylan was very helpful and speaks English well. We also enjoyed the breakfast. FYI there was no shampoo and conditioner provided, only regular soap."
