Bunkers Seafood Restaurant located next door, same proprietor, was great. The waitress even taught us how to eat whole boiled lobster. If you want the city excitement of Bar Harbor, you won't find it here, but if you are looking for REAL Maine, this is the spot. Schoodic Point offers better rocky coast access with very few people. Maybe a bowl of apples and a tray of wrapped granola bars... or bags of trail mix and some bananas. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant where the food was great, the service was excellent and the views were superb."

"This is a basic property and perfect for having a safe and clean place to lay your head after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. It’s set on the water (Atlantic Ocean) … no beach…. Looks like a lake because of all the little islands)…and during low tide, you’ll see people out on the ocean floor digging for clams). Staff is helpful… beds are okay…. Good hot water for showers. No microwave and bathroom vanity space is small. There were two of us sharing. Like they say…. Location matters and this property is right on the scenic road to take you to Acadia National Park. We very much enjoyed the Farmstand Coffee House for breakfast every day… 5 minutes down the road."
