Lovely staff, great area close to lots of restaurants and bars, shops close too. Very close to bus stop. Quiet town is good for chill vibes, not a party town. About 50 euro into corfu city and 20 euro into the next town.

Great find in Messonghi
Spent just a night here visiting friends who’d stayed the week. Great location just across the road from the beach. Bed super comfy with mattress topper and aircon- staff were lovely. Great sun beds round pool with cushions and very quiet and peaceful - no bar but you could take your own drinks and food round pool and supermarket and bakery across the road from the hotel. Had a great night at golden Will definitely return, thanks for a great time

The hotel was the worst place during our 2 week travel through Corfu. It’s require full refurbishment, terrible smell, away from everything. Beach is not good in the area, many waste disposal pipes. The reception is always somewhere out smoking. For the same money we got hundred times a better property up the north part of Corfu. Stay away and book any other available place because it will be better (don’t believe nice photos).

Dear Alex, We are sorry to know you did not enjoy your time with us. I beleive you are mistaken when you mention that our hotel requires a full refurbishment, since we have recently updated the reception area as well as the rooms and continue to do so. I don't know what terrible smell you sensed, but we could have definitly helped you with this issue if you had told us. Our hotel is not in the center of the island but has every thing you need during a vacation, with 2 supermarkets on the oposite side of the hotel, the beach within a 2 minute walk,restaurants and bar all around and a bus stop right next to the hotel. You also have Moraitika, the next town over, which is within walking distance and has a farmacy as well as many other restaurants, bars and local shops. The disposal pipes do exist, however this is not in the beach right in front of the hotel, which is awarded with a blue flag, meaning it meets the standards for swimming. As our other reviews show, our hotel is well cleaned with a good staff and location, so we hope you can give us another chance and let us provide you with a better experience. Couldn't sleep
This hotel is immaculate with a beautiful pool and a great location but the rooms are not fit for purpose as they are too light to sleep. Double glass doors with net curtains and a streetlight right outside the window meant it was bright at all times and we were completely unable to sleep. You can't have a room that doesn't even get dark at night. It's a shame - I know nothing can be done about the streetlight but thicker curtains or blackout blinds would solve this and make it a great hotel.

Nice apartment great location
Lovely stay, large room bright and clean. Good self catering amenities and nice touches eg toilteries. Room cleaned every day. Staff really friendly and helpful any problems dealt with promptly and also around if needed. Large pool with free towels.

Hotel close to beach and all amenities
We returned yesterday from our 12 night stay in Aquarius Hotel in Messonghi. We couldn't have chosen better! The beach is 2 minutes away which meant we didn't have to stay all day on the beach we could just come and go as we please (tip - it's pebbly to get in sea once you are in its sandy so buy some beach shoes). The pool at hotel is lovely and towels are provided. The staff are wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. We arrived and I was not very happy with the room as it was it opened up on to reception and faced the street, so we asked to change it. 2 days later we were able to move to a room with a lovely view with fruit trees at back of hotel with spacious balcony. Air conditioning can be a bit fierce if you keep it on all night and we were forever getting up to switch it off and then on again! Also once you have had a shower it floods out the bathroom, but soon dries again! Supermarkets nearby and lovely bakery. Beautiful views from the beach. Try captain Homer's boat trip to south of Corfu we thoroughly enjoyed it as well as day trip to Corfu town to see mouse Island. Lovely places to eat in evening, good for a family. All in all, a great stay, thank you Aquarius Hotel for making our stay a special one! Nicky

Lovely hotel, and very close to the beach
The Aquarius Apartments are lovely for a peaceful getaway. The owners are lovely and friendly, the hotel very clean. My room was a lovely, double on the ground floor at the end of the corridor, and served perfect for the stay - it may be a little compact for two if you're not tidy. The bathroom is dated but clean and practical. The room had a good sized balcony over looking the pool. The beach is literally meters away - not visible from the hotel but its so close, it doesnt matter. Having visited just as the season is starting, it was absolutely perfect for a quiet retreat. Bacchus restaurant serves delicious food - I never used the menu once, with Janna making perfect suggestions of identifying the closest suggestion to your request. Time Out Bar is a cool little bar which despite how quiet it was proved to be great fun, with flowing drinks and dancing. The All In Shop has everything you need with a perfect team who are friendly and so very helpful. The bus in to Corfu town is easy and runs frequently. The Aquarius is a perfectly placed hotel in a perfect spot of paradise!

Incredibly accommodating staff, perfect aparthotel
Our stay (2 adults in a family studio due to an upgrade) was lovely. Dimitris and Spiros could not do enough for us, they were accommodating for us in every sense of the word and we could not have asked for more lovelier people than them. Our room was perfect for what we needed! A bedroom with a double bed, house keeping every day, air con situated right above us. The kitchen was an ideal size for a stay for two of 1 week: fridge, sink, hob with 2 rings, cutlery and crockery and pans provided. A large balcony was great for sitting out on, overlooking the pool and the alley to the beach. The bathrooms are more of a 'wet room', completely manageable, not luxurious but we had no problem with them whatsoever. The pool is a fab relaxing area, with sunloungers and towels provided by the hotel. The beach is just across the road down the alley, a shingle beach with sunloungers and umbrellas (€5 for 2 sunloungers and an umbrella), clear sea and many bars and restuarants with gorgeous sea side views. The hotel is a clean and enjoyable home for your stay, we would highly recommend it! Next to Aquarius are 2 supermarkets and a bakery, all providing everything you need and welcoming staff. There are souvenir shops, boat and coach excursion companies and bike rentals on the road too. Meals out in Messonghi were divine, we would particularly recommend Taverna Dionysos on the beach front - book early in the day for a table on the front! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The hosts were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel is super close to the beach, supermarkets and lots of lovely restaurants. We wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday and that is exactly what we got! We will definitely be back!

Elena the host very helpful and pleasant. Hotel situated in a good location, not too central, away from the noise of the large Apollo hotel area. Very close to the beach. Good pool area. Nice local bars inc Boss bar with George, Costas and Pamela all great. Speedboat hire isn't expensive and great fun. Water sports available across the river. Will go back again!

We had a great stay. The apartments are located near the beach and there are lots of places to eat nearby. The pool area is great as is Eleni who greeted us warmly when we arrived. The only thing which could be improved is the kitchen utensils. Even if you're eating out sometimes you just want a snack in the apartment.

We were the first occupants for the 2016 season and were upgraded to a larger room.the room was very spacious but if it had full occupancy would need more drawers/shelves. We were self catering and very early in the season with very limited places to eat. Therefore I cooked in the apartment a few times however there wasn't any toaster, grill or oven which resulted in very few dishes that could be cooked using only a two ring hob. On the plus side the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean with a lovely pool area to relax by.

Best family-holiday
The hotel is superb, the staff are super friendly and almost everyone speaks english. Two supermarkets are a minutes' walk from the hotel and all the restaurants are very close. The sea isn't so great- too warm and shallow but you can reach the beach within 2-3 minutes. I liked my room and just loved the huge balcony. The shower needs getting used to. My room had a hair-dryer, fridge, kitchenette. There is a washing machine on the last floor. One minus is that wifi is available only near the front desk, not in the room. Overall i would rate my stay in this hotel 8 out of 10.

Franchement établissement très correcte avec une situation géographiquement parfaite pour les personnes fuyant le bruit et le surpeuplement. Le personnel est tout a fait adorable et prêt à rendre service. Le ménage est fait tous les jours avec toujours des petites attentions. Le linge changé tout les 3 jours. La piscine est propre et des serviettes sont à votre disposition. Un peu leger niveau équipement de la cuisine mais nous n'avions pas prévu de faire de grande cuisine. Des restaurant, commerces et plages en bas de l'Hotel. Franchement nous avons été ravis de ce séjour et recommandons cet établissement.

Sehr freundliche, kompetente und hilfsbereite Gastgeberinnen! Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und mit Balkon. Die Liegen am Pool waren bequem, in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Nur wenige Schritte bis zum Meer. Lokale, Supermärkte ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die vielen heimatlosen Katzen freuen sich über Futter und Zuwendung. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub!

Schickes Hotel in ultimativer Strandnähe
Unser Aufenthalt war zwar kurz aber dafür umso schöner. Dimitri und Athena begrüßten uns sehr herzlich am Empfang. Sie haben sich um alles gekümmert und uns fehlte es an nichts. Durch die Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Das Hotel ist super gelegen, zu Fuß sind es gerade einmal 50 Meter zum Strand. Auf dem Weg findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe mehrere Restaurants, eine Bäckerei und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Toll sind auch die Cocktailbars direkt am Strand und an der Promenade. Alles in Allem eine top Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder! Danke!

Hotel discreto per pulizia e posizione.Tutte le comodità nel raggio di 50 metri:supermarket,bar,taverna, bancomat, fermata bus, e spiaggia discreta. Strategica la posizione per poter girare l'sola. Disponibilità da parte dei proprietari, le quali ti offrono vari servizi a secondo delle richieste ma con una nota negativa: attenzione all' Autonoleggio STAR CAR HIRE gestito da persone poco chiare assolutamente non corrette. I proprietari dell'Hotel dovrebbero tutelare i loro clienti (questo non è stato fatto) visto che sono loro che ti affidano a questo genere di servizi (che son purtroppo gestiti da ladri) sono anche loro i responsabili del disagio.

my husband and i came here for a long weekend and found the hotel and the area were just what we were looking for. there are some stores nearby as well as a few restaurants. since we weren't there in the high season, parking was easy to come by and the village was quiet. beach is less than 2 minutes away!

Tolle Angestellte in nettem kleinen Hotel
Ende März waren wir zu zweit für sechs Nächte hier und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Wenige Schritte vom Hotel entfernt liegt der Strand und rings herum gibt es Cafes und Restaurants (die meisten davon öffnen erst im April). Die Lage des Hotels ist recht gut wenn man die Insel mit dem Mietwagen erkunden möchte, auch der Weg zum Flughafen ist nur kurz. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, die kleine Küchenzeile hatte alles was wir brauchten. Am besten gefallen haben uns die Angestellten/ Manager, sie waren unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Stehts freundlich und sehr gut informiert. Zu meinem Geburtstag bekam ich einen hübschen Strauß Blumen aufs Zimmer.

Vollkommen zufrieden!
Uns hat es dort wirklich sehr gut gefallen! Alle waren unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Und das Zimmer war äußerst geräumig und sauber! Ein Highlight war der Balkon mit Blick auf Orangen- und Zitronenbäume! Ein Traum zum Frühstücken in der Sonne!

Certaines chambres sont vétustes et non rénovées
Bonjour voyageurs, Alors le 1er jour la chambre était vraiment vétuste, petite, propreté limite, salle de bain catastrophique, chambre non-rénovée, donnant sur la piscine donc vraiment aucune intimité. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, normalement le lendemain nous devions avoir une autre chambre, pour finir nous avons obtenu la chambre le jour d'après. La 2ème chambre était toujours aussi petite, par contre un petit peu plus confortable, un peu mieux adaptée et plus lumineuse, nettement mieux située avec balcon au premier étage, la salle de bain un plus spacieuse et plus adaptée aussi et surtout moins vétuste que la première chambre.

Très bon séjour en AOUT à AQUARIUS APPART HOTEL personnel très accueillant et serviable. Propreté impeccable. Super bien situé : mer, restos, boutiques et bus à proximité. Piscine agréable. Seul bémol : literie trop dure

Hyggelig betjening og fin lokasjon med strand, restauranter og butikker i umiddelbar nærhet. Minus at air-condition fungerte dårlig.

The Owner and workers are very friedly and helping you with everything possible! The room Needs some repairing..from shower comes hardly any water and Aircondition was very weak. When we had it on full power there was still almost +30 warm in room..

Very good choice
We´ve just returned from Corfu and I find myself often thinking the best spent my summer holliday so far. The apart-hotel Aquarius has good value for the money with perfect location within walking distance everywhere what you need for self-cattering holliday. The swimming pool is in good condition. The hotel is surrounded with many bars, tavernas, the supermarket... Very good possibilities to choose any restaurant every day. The english breakfasts were splendid. The beach is very close to the hotel. Weather was excelent, water had ideal temperature also for longer swimming. There´s very friendly staff there. Very nice people arround the property in the tavernas... It´s not far away from the airport. Good option to park your car in surrounding areas free of charge. If you have rented a car, so it´s a good starting poit to explore the south and middle area of the island. And I must say that I can imagine a stay there without any car as well. Jan from Slovakia
