CASA MARÈS – Country house in a beautiful setting

The house nestles in the heart of the Pla de l’Estany region, 800m from the road to Pujals dels Cavallers along a quiet unpaved road in good condition, or 200 m from the road to Fontcoberta. The property is not near any other houses, is surrounded by woods and trails, and has outdoor parking in the grounds.

INSIDE
The holiday home is spacious and is arranged over two floors.

GROUND FLOOR
You go into the house from the outside stone patio which has plenty of shade where guests can enjoy the cool air. Bicycles can be kept inside near the entrance. Going inside, there is a hall/reception room which leads to all the other rooms in the house and a central stairway which goes up to the first floor. From here you can also get to the bathroom which has a shower and toilet. Open-plan kitchen-dining room, featuring special details such as the old marble sink, fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, except dishwasher, with an open doorway leading to the lounge. There is a wooden table and chairs for dining, a large fireplace which can only be used during the winter months, and lots of light. Lounge with sofas, TV and large windows giving plenty of light with views of the nearby countryside.

FIRST FLOOR
You go up the stairs to get to the first floor. This is the sleeping area, with three bedrooms and a room which has been turned into an old rustic study where guests can read or do work enjoying the peace and quiet, with access to the sun terrace. There are three double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two with two single beds and, from one of them, you can also go out to the sun terrace.

There is no air conditioning, but this is not usually necessary since the house is cool thanks to its old traditional structure. The heating work with a wood boiler.

OUTSIDE
Charming open patio space in front of the house with outdoor furniture, where guests can eat or enjoy the cool shade in the chairs. There is also space outside to park cars.

Spacious, bright kitchen-dining room fully equipped with oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, juicer, stove, tableware, glassware, fireplace, wooden table and chairs.

Lounge with sofas, TV and lots of light.

Study room with furniture and access to the terrace.

3 bedrooms with bedside tables and reading lamps:

Bedroom1: double bed and views outside.

Bedroom 2: 2 single beds and views outside.

Bedroom 3: 2 single beds, views outside, large wardrobe and access to the terrace.
