Excellent place. The sorroundings are clean. Massive swimming pool and clean. Staff are very nice and friendly. Great food and service was excellent. Worth recommended to anyone. Would love to come back and stay with Fernvale again

Overall great stay. Some critques: received incorrect orders a couple of times (asked for chicken with the pasta, got a regular coke instead of coke zero), mold or gunk on the shower doors, and tried to order room service a couple of times but received no answer so ultimately had to go downstairs to place an order at the restaurant. Staff were very nice, location was close to the airport and downtown, convinient sari sari store across the hotel were we bought conditioner from since the hotel didnt provide it. pools were nice!

Our stay overall was good - clean room and bathroom, really enjoyed the pool, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful in calling a tricycle to town (40pp during the day and we paid 50pp back to hotel at night).

No service phone in the room. No other restaurant as alternative place. No safety vault that is working both the 2 rooms where we stayed. But service is excellent, the staff are all nice and prompt. We also love the taste of their sisig and pizza.

Great Pool!

We weren't sure what to expect - but Fernvale exceeded our expectations! Pool was SO FUN - our kids played for 8 hours in the pool. Clean and spacious room. Really great visit - thank you!

Great property and a lovely relaxing base to launch from for trips to Coron. Rooms were clean and comfy, the pool fabulous and massive and the breakfast and restaurant both very good. Breakfast was varied every day and the restaurant and drinks well priced and good value. A few menu shortages and things unavailable but generally, the place was great for the 4 days we stayed. Juliet at reception was very helpful to organise tours and boats. Marielle always good with restaurant service and Vanessa also very helpful. Overall, highly recommended

Didn't like the rooms is devoted when you booked it. Too small. Hot water food not work in the first room then they transferred us to a second room which took them a long time to fix the hot water too.

The best staff

My family and I booked a trip to Coron and we loved our experience in Fernvale! Food: the food tasted like my mom's cooking, hearty and felt like home. We ordered the sisig pizza every night (not joking) because it was so amazing. The breakfast buffet every morning was also great! They serve something a little different everyday and we loved the variety. They have every protein on the menu. Staff: all the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had left something at the airport and the front desk manager took all measure to help us and made all the phone calls since we did not have a local number. We also want to give a shoutout to the rest of the crew who always said hi to us with a smile and catered to our every need. I also want to add that when you need a ride to go into town, they come within 5 minutes of the staff calling them, Hotel appearance: clean and homey. There are only 18 rooms in this property so it was nice because it was quiet. After a long day of activities, it was nice to come back here, jump into their 2 huge pools, and enjoy peace and quiet. Price: fair and reasonable.

During our stay it was low season, so the hotel felt deserted at times (thought there was always staff there). However: The atmosphere must be amazing if there are more visitors. The pool area and gardens in the hotel are awesome and definitely a great place for children. The "restaurant" (which was actually the pool bar serving food) could improve a lot on quality though. Breakfast (in another place) is good though. The location of the hotel is currently still a bit a downer, as the Fernvale area is still completely under construction. The hotel seems to be the only part that's done. However: It's easy to rent a scooter and go into town, or just ask the reception to provide for a tricicle to take you there.

The room itself was good. We had a room overlooking the pool which had a large balcony. Reception staff were very helpful, however, the lunch and dinner staff hid away all the time and seemed to try and make it difficult for anyone to order anything. They used to have a pool bar, which is now closed and they used to have call buttons by the pool loungers, which have also been removed, so you have to go looking for staff to get food or drink. Staff do not come around and ask if anyone wants anything at any point. They leave the chairs over the tables as if the restaurant is closed all the time. When we went for dinner one night the staff were standing on their phones and then sat on seats behind the bar on their phones so they couldnt be seen. The pizza was good, but the pork adobo had chunks of pig skin, whoch is nice when bbq'd but not when cooked in another way, so it was very rubbery and not very nice. I would not recommend getting this dish. The hotel is an hour's walk outside of the main town and you can easily get a trike to town for PHP 40 per person and expect to pay PHP 50 each on the way back. The airport shuttle was very convenient both ways. The pool is very nice but they struggle with leaves due to the amount of trees and other foliage around the pools.

Quite a way from town but property is huge n nice when it’s low season. Must question about pool towels though- one front desk person said they were free to use outside of hotel and the next day, another front desk person said we have to rent. Very contradicting. Best to stick to one rule.
