The house is roomy and comfortable had everything we needed for a relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. Three decks, comfortable beds, plenty for the kids to do, well stocked kitchen, and lots of little extras—and just a short walk or drive to the beach. Wonderful!

Our experience with this rental was disappointing. Upon arrival, we weren’t sure we were in the right place, as the property looked much less polished than the photos suggested. The biggest issue was the third bedroom, which is completely separate from the main house. It was inaccessible when we arrived, and although the host was responsive and sent someone out, they didn’t have a key and had to access it using a tool. Unfortunately, once we got in, the room was not cleaned—the beds were unmade, and the bathroom was filthy. A cleaner was sent the next day, but we were unable to use the room until then, which was frustrating.Other aspects of the rental were also lacking. The kitchen utensils were inadequate, and the extra sheets provided looked dirty. The only bedding for the pullout couch was a fitted sheet, which was not sufficient. Additionally, the number of stairs in this rental makes it unsuitable for elderly guests, something that should be clearly noted in the listing.Overall, we would not stay here again. While the host was responsive, the issues we encountered—especially cleanliness and misrepresented accommodations—made for a disappointing experience.

I contacted the owner prior to our stay to inquire what items/supplies we might need to bring. I received no response. The particular unit we stayed in was barely surface clean. Dishes in the drawers weren't clean, hodge podge of items, cabinet fronts were sticky, the floors weren't cleaned well. Wood balconies and most outdoor furniture were rotting. Units on both sides had much better. The washer was so loud it shook the unit and the friction caused sparks. When reported, no one came to repair.
