What a beautiful property! It is just as shown on the VRBO site. Our Yorkie loved exploring the yard while we relaxed on the patio. We hope to be able to visit next year.
We loved our stay here. The location was great as we explored many different surrounding areas. The house was very clean and we all felt comfortable in the space. We would recommend this stay to others.
Very comfortable country setting with no visible neighbors and beautiful views from tree shaded patio. Perfect for day trips to Mesa Verde, Telluride and Durango. But we also enjoyed a lot more locally than we expected including Sand River hiking area with cliff dwellings, Sutcliffe vineyards and others. Best of all, great yard for the dog!!
Location allowed you to visit a multitude of places. We trav eled to all pueblos and hikes. Would recommend this VRBO to anyone. It is beautiful and just what we hoped it would be.

This house was perfect for us! It’s close enough to the city and all the attractions, yet far enough away to feel like you’re secluded from the rest of the world. It was immaculate, there wasn’t anything missing from this quaint home with beautiful views. Ginny is very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! 10/10 would definitely recommend!
The house is very cute and had a great outdoor space. Great kitchen and lots of little extras around the property. Very clean! I had a question about something and the owner got right back to me. Little phone service, but there is wifi. Close to Hovenweep, The Canyon of the Ancients, and Mesa Verde. Not far from Four Corners. We loved our stay here! We would definitely stay again.
This was one of our favorites. Such a peaceful, beautiful setting. Super quiet and a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed. Ginny is a superb host! We would definitely stay again.
We had a great time at the property and basing out of it for local trails and parks. If you’re a mountain biker then Phil’s World is down the highway and there is a great bike store in Cortez for support. Mesa Verde is nearby and is a must see. Four Corners monument is also not far away as well as a ton of other sights. The house itself is a great place to relax and we found it to be better than expected on arrival.
We loved our stay here! It was so quiet, peaceful, and scenic. We enjoyed spending evenings enjoying the back deck. The house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It had plenty of supplies such as trash bags, toilet paper and dishwasher pods (which isn't the case at all rentals), and extras such as granola bars, sunscreen, bug spray and tourism brochures. We appreciated the creature comforts of air conditioning in the bedrooms and a dishwasher, and not having a long list of chores to complete before leaving. It's a working ranch property, so some folks came by to work on irrigation, sprinklers, mowing, etc, but that didn't bother us. Property was a good centralized location for Mesa Verde (30 minutes), Four Corners (40 minutes), Hovenweep (40 minutes), Canyons of Ancients visitor center (30 minutes) and trails (10 minutes), and Durango (1 hour). We would definitely stay here again!
6-day/5-night stay with 4 adults. We fell in love with this charming ranch, sitting on nearly 20 acres of pastureland. All the needed creature comforts were present. The well-appointed kitchen had ample plates, silverware, and utensils. While the comfortable baths and sleeping quarters had plenty of linens and toiletries. Travel from the location to our planned Canyon of the Ancients horseback ride, Sutcliffe wine-tasting, visit to Four Corners, and hikes of Hovenweep and Mesa Verde National Park were surprisingly easy drives. This also enabled us to add trips to Mancos and Durango. All of us would definitely recommend this VRBO and stay here again when visiting Cortez.
