The Econo Lodge in Cortez is nice. It was a clean roon with nice bedding. The mattress has a bit too hard for my liking. The breakfast was good with waffles, muffins, eggs, sausage and the usual dry items and morning beverages. Parking is limited. No longer a pool. Overall it was a nice place.

Good place for an overnight as the bed was fairly comfortable. The owners were bery mice and apparently they recently bought the property, they are looking to improve it and they appreciate any suggestions you make

Stayed here several years ago and it wasn't very good. This time it had been remodeled and was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the breakfast buffet.

Not much at the breakfast buffet, sausage patties and bread. Grab a cup of joe and head across the street to Dennys. Parking was good and safe. Inexpensive stay no frills.

The check-in process was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was too small. (Had to open the shower and step into it to get the bathroom door closed). With that said…the shower was great! Very noisy property. 2 vehicles alarms going off didn’t help. The TV in our room did not work - however, as we are not much on watching TV it didn’t matter. This was an OK overnight stay. I would not stay here for multiple nights.
