Great Stay
Beautiful spacious house. Had a great stay with my family. Mark was great and very responsive! Our hot water went out the first night but Mark was able to get it fixed within an hour. This was the perfect house for our very large family. Definitely recommend

Quick local stay
We live locally, but thought it would be fun to rent this house for a few nights over winter break. The house was very clean and well stocked. The view doesn’t get any better! Mark was a great host, and I strongly recommend this house for anyone with large groups or family gatherings.

Perfect Family Getaway
The house had everything we needed. Mark made sure that if we needed anything and had questions about local stuff that he was our go to guy. Went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Wonderful Stay
Reserved for a work event we were doing off the Navajo Reservation and this worked out great to have everyone stay in the same spot and way cheaper than a hotel with tons of rooms. Staff was also able to have a fun bonding experience with all of us staying at the same place. Rooms were spacious and property was beautiful. Wish we could have spent more time there and will look into it again for any future trips/vacations. Mark was also super easy to contact and get in touch with for any questions.

Fun stay
We held a family reunion at this property and it was wonderful. The kitchen has everything we needed to make meals, and there was lots of dining space. We took advantage of the living areas and pool table and ping pong table, and the location was convenient for day trips to Mesa Verde and Telluride. The kids and teenagers loved their rooms and all the space. The large bedrooms have lots of beds in them, which is great for groups though not ideal for couples. Still, that was very minor and we enjoyed the "sleepover" style setup with no issues whatsoever. We also appreciated Mark's helpfulness and communication prior to the rental time and during. We know hosting 30 people can potentially cause some havoc, but his instructions and set up helped us keep things organized and clean, with no stress before, during, or after our stay. We would surely hold another reunion there.

Great place for a family reunion
We stayed here for a family reunion and had the best time. There were 21 of us and we really enjoyed all the space available for spreading out. There were plenty of beds, bathrooms, couches, and tables. The house is only 15 minutes away from Mesa Verde and also close to gas stations and grocery stores. Mark was so nice and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this house for a large group.

Excellent home for a family reunion
Enjoyed the multiple beds in each room which accommodated each family in our group. Enjoyed the 6 bathrooms allowing each family a bathroom. Enjoyed the large property which allowed outdoor games. The grandchildren especially enjoyed the pool table and the ping pong table. Our family had a blast staying here.

Clean. Fit us. Loved the pool table and ping pong table. We had a great time having cutthroat and ping pong tournaments. Each family group had their own bathroom. Easy access to many things.

Appreciative Family
We enjoyed the house very much and recommend it to anyone who needs a large place to gather. We had lots of people coming and going so it fit our every need and then some the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and gave us a grand tour. Peaceful Place
Lots of space. Plenty of room for everyone. Ample parking. Countless windows bring the beauty inside and leave the cold outside. The bird feeder is perfectly placed by the dining area for views of feathered friends. A peaceful place to call your temporary home sweet home.

Thanksgiving Stay
The property was clean, spacious, and well-suited for our large, multi-family stay. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and the owner was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. There was extra freezer and fridge space in the garage that were not in the online listing, so amenities were even better than listed.

Amazing Experience
It is been great experience on the stay of this property. It is very well connected Telluride, Durango and Orway. Too specious for many people. close to market area in case anything needed. All n all, one of the best experience for all the age members.

Better than described!
Listing mentioned "additional ice machine" but in reality there was no working ice machine, which would have been greatly appreciated in the heat of summer. However, other amenities were BETTER than described! Two full dining room tables with plenty of room for family seating inside and out. Granite counter tops, even outside by the grill, fabulous decks and patios, spectacular views on every side! So relaxing every evening to enjoy the sunset from comfortable chairs on the covered decks. Great AC, both floors stayed nice and cool. Plenty of room for grandkids to play, comfortable sofas for visiting. It was the perfect place for our family gathering. Great access to Mesa Verde, which was magical. Mark was flexible and responsive. We had a fabulous time with this roomy lodge as our base.

VRBO was Disappointing
Host(owner) thought we were arriving the next day. Able to contact Host thru his relator since a For Sale sign was on the property. Host was very helpful once contacted. When contacted, VRBO said to contact Host. However, VRBO never provided Host contact information. Nor did VRBO insure Host had contacted me. House meet most of our requirements. Kitchen is small. Swiming pool was listed-no pool.

Family Reunion
We have been renting properties for over 15 years for our family reunions. This property floats to the top in bring family friendly with enough space for all. The property owner is extremely nice. We loved our experience here! Would highly recommend!

Exactly as described!
I am An assistant coach for a high school basketball team. Sharing beds was not a good option but this house was! Mark was efficient and welcoming and the description of the house as “great for family reunions” was spot-on. We had a great stay, and I recommend the property highly.

Just what we were looking for.
The pictures don’t do it justice . It was a beautiful home . It was really close to everything . We drove out everyday to do other activities with the kids but came home and enjoyed what the home had to offer. 100% recommend .

Thanksgiving and Mesa Verde
This place was perfect for our multiple family get together at Thanksgiving. Lots of rooms and beds which was exactly what we needed. Nice quiet neighborhood but close enough for the Milk run. Mark was super good to work with. Provided trash service midweek and even brought us dishwasher detergent.

Beautiful home in Cortez, CO
We had a wonderful stay in Cortez, CO. This home more than accommodated our family and offered great views of Mesa Verde and Sleeping Ute Mountain. We saw deer in the back yard every day. It was very convenient for exploring Mesa Verde National Park, Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, and Hovenweep National Monument. We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. The home is well stocked and Mark made sure we had everything we needed.

Mountains were Beautiful!

Our host, Mark, was responsive when we needed him and made checking in and out extremely easy. The property and views are spectacular. The home is beautiful. Comfortable stay for a large family
The house had ample space for everybody in our group. Patio Was awesome with a grill for nice cooler evenings. Pool table was a plus for kids to enjoy. Sleeping arrangement can be tricky depending on the number of people. There were still some finishing work to be done but manageable. Mark was very responsive to our requests. Overall it was a good experience.

Great for our family reunion
Being recently renovated, there were a few kinks to work out, but Mark was responsive and helpful. The house is huge with plenty of space for eating and hanging out. The sleeping arrangements are a little odd with the two "master" suites each sleeping 6-8 people. Also there is only one bathroom that's not accessed through a bedroom and it's on the second floor. Still, once the room assignments were made, we had a great time and enjoyed what that house had to offfer.
