Explore all the Smokies has to offer in this one-of-a-kind escape surrounded by the natural beauty of slate, wood, water & stars. Welcome to Slate Crossing - a 1.5 story vintage-inspired geodesic dome nestled in Wanderlust Woods.

Only 5 mi from the best rafting & zip lining in the area & 25 min to Gatlinburg, the secluded 10 acre property hosts a flowing creek, mountain views, & plenty of space to wander––perfect for all seeking the glory of the mountains without the typical log cabin decor.

The main level of the dome consists of two cozy bedrooms, a living room with a sofa, comfy chair and coffee table, TV and an entire wall of windows that look out onto perennial flowing creek. Additionally, you'll find a table that seats 6, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with vanity, toilet, and hot shower. Upstairs in a loft space there is room for two more full-sized beds for a recommended capacity of up to 6 guests.

The story continues outside with a creekside covered slate-lined deck that you’ll never want to leave, rain or shine. There you’ll find hammock chairs, bar with 4 stools, gas grill, and a cast iron fire stove (firewood provided) to keep you toasty in the cold. It’s elevated camping with the comforts of home.
