Smoky Mountain Retreat

Smoky Mountain Retreat is nestled on a wooded acre minutes from the bustle of Gatlinburg, with the Great Smoky Mountain National Park minutes away. Two cabins, both sleeping 4, and private outdoor & firepit space make for a perfect getaway for traveling family and/or friends. Easily accessible on Hwy 321 and convenient to all the area has to offer.

Laurel Haven is a modern cabin with the traditional feeling of a mountain home. The larger of the two cabins it offers:

Vaulted ceilings with relaxed living room and dinette area
Full-size kitchen
Dedicated workspace/desk
Washer and dryer

Holly Nest is tiny, mountain living offering:

Cozy main floor bedroom with Queen
Sleeping loft with Full-size bed
Vaulted ceilings with combined living & apartment-size kitchen area

Both cabins provide:
Well-equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee and tea
Smart Roku TV
Bathroom furnished with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryer
Board games and cards
Porch with rockers
Outdoor firepit with grill grate
Charcoal grill and picnic table
Outdoor lights & games
EV charging outlet

Booking the Smoky Mountain Retreat allows your group to mingle without the intrusion of other cabins and guests. The firepits and outdoor space foster a spacious, relaxing escape for the entire group when you are done exploring for the day.

If you're looking to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain National Park without crowds, Cosby is for you. The hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are nearby, but Cosby and our cabins provide a true mountain experience. You can even avoid the traffic congestion by coming off I-40 at the Newport exit and find a quiet, scenic 14-mile drive.

Up to two pets are allowed in Laurel Haven when booking the Smoky Mountain Retreat, but no pets are permitted in Holly Nest. Any unauthorized pets brought into Holly Nest will result in an added $100 fee for a deep cleaning.

Parties/events are NOT permitted.
There's parking on the premises as well as an outlet for electric vehicle charging. A Nema 14-50R outlet for EV charging is provided for register guests only. Guests will need to bring their own charging cables, etc. NO RV charging and/or RV stays. We ask you to limit cars to 3, but two fit more easily in the driveway/parking area. Please be aware that the driveway is short, but steep to the road.
