"Adorei a minha passagem pelo Monte Papa Léguas. O quarto, que é um antigo estábulo convertido, está super acolhedor e muito bem conseguido. Aproveitámos imenso a piscina, que é muito agradável e está estrategicamente protegida do vento, o que faz toda a diferença. O pequeno-almoço também estava excelente. "I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. "Beautiful and comfortable home. The listing was a little incomplete so it was unclear exactly what we were getting but pleasantly surprised. One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. It just would have been helpful to know they would be there. The listing said it was entirely self check-in. "

"Hotel was beautiful, pool was stunning, loungers very comfortable, gym and spa were brilliant and the majority of staff were helpful. The cleaning staff were incredible and our room was spotless. The restaurant food wasn’t great and the staff weren’t hugely helpful or proactive. For example there is a sushi menu but this isn’t handed out, you have to ask for it. We were served wine on one evening which was the end of the bottle and not a full serve and we had to ask and then remjnd the waiter to open a new bottle to fill the glass. The pool menu is very limited (and doesn’t include sushi despite it being a very small distance from the kitchen). We stayed in a loft suite and there were a number of sharp cracked tiles around the bath. There is a shuttle to one beach but it finishes at 4.30 (there are no Ubers and getting a taxi is almost impossible) so it would be good if they could expand the shuttle service to the other beach clubs / restaurants (e.g comporta cafe / jncquoi) and run the shuttle for longer."

"We booked a 2-bedroom “villa” however when we got to our “villa” it looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. Not only that but it was in the very back of the property almost in a separate unit called “villa memosa”. These looked completely different from all the rest o the units at the resort. It was my 40th bday and we complained. Fortunately the staff was receptive and showed us some of the 3 bedroom villas which were more like what we had seen when booking. Unfortunately the maids had left for the day so they put us in a nice beach front hotel room for the night but it was a bit inconvient as we had to pack up and move the the villa the next day. Overall the resort is probably the best in Sagres though there aren’t many resorts there besides Memmo bailers. The property is really huge and a mix of houses you can rent, villas with kitchens and regular hotel rooms. There are a lot of amenities and the property is geared for young families ( our 6 and 8 year old were older than most of the kids). The property is “beach front” but you would still need to walk at least 3-5 minutes to the beach from the closest rooms and if you are at the back like we were it will be 10-15 minutes down a slight hill (and up on the way back). The pools were really nice and property grounds clean and maintained. Spa was nice, tennis courts, small mini golf, some trampolines for kids (some cost money) and the beach view was beautiful. We went to the restaurants and the food was good."

"We were at the end of a wonderful split trip that started with 4 nights in Lisbon followed by 4 nights in Salema (Algarve) with 2 final nights in Lisbon. We decided on the houseboat for the last two nights and so glad we did. Family if 4 with two teenagers. Great food and drink within a short walk, safe, clean, spacious and right on the water. Don’t miss live music at “Black Label” on the corner almost nightly. Great time and we’ll be back."
