"You would think that a hotel of this caliber would be incredible in every way. Sadly, this is not true. The location, setting and architecture are stunning and on point. However, the decor (at least in the rooms vs villas) is very old school and without modern enhancements. I didn't love or appreciate this aspect of the hotel. "Massimo, the hotel manager couldn’t have been more attentive. The staff were friendly and kind. The hotel was clean and the pool was a great addition. There was no lift in the hotel, so if you require disabled access this may be an issue but it was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfy. Quite basic but still good for the value of money. It’s a short walk to the village centre with some really lovely restaurants and markets. Was a great trip. Would recommend. "
