In the centre of the island and in the middle of a typical Mediterranean landscape: this is the idyllic location of Villa Casa S'Era de Costitx, which was built on a plot of over 5,000 m². The pretty house, partly overgrown with lush greenery, blends in very tastefully with its surroundings - in the best sense, it feels as if the building has always stood here. The outdoor area, designed with great attention to detail, is a real highlight. With so many options, it's hard to decide where to go first. You can opt for the loungers under parasols or the cushioned outdoor seating furniture. The outdoor kitchen with dining table and chairs also has a beautiful, rustic look and a swing for children overlooking the pool. You can dine on the covered terrace right next to the house, or enjoy a coffee in the elegant seating area at the side of the house or on the sunny roof terrace. Or you can play a game of table tennis with your fellow travellers at the in-house table in the pleasant shade.
A great mix of traditional and modern style awaits you in your holiday home. White walls, ceiling beams, wooden window and door frames and natural-coloured tiles create a wonderfully authentic country house atmosphere, which is given a contemporary touch with chic home accessories. On the ground floor, you will find the entrance area and a guest WC as well as the spacious kitchen with pantry, which has an open-plan design and flows directly into the dining area. The round dining table is illuminated by a chandelier where you can enjoy a feast together in peace and quiet. The kitchen and dining area are also semi-open to the living room, so you may already be longing to catch a glimpse of the two cosy sofas you want to lure over from next door. When you are tired, you can retreat to one of the two romantically furnished bedrooms, some with natural stone walls and charming shutters. A modern bathroom rounds off the living comfort on the ground floor. There is a further bedroom with an elegant en-suite bathroom on the upper floor.
Pack a bottle of water and a few snacks and set off: you'll see that the impressive landscape in the centre of the island has its own special charm! The area around your home is wonderfully rural, with hardly any direct neighbours other than the villa owners, with whom you only share the driveway. To do your shopping, drive the 6.8 km to Costitx, along the road, which can be audible depending on the wind direction. The village is not one of Mallorca's well-known tourist destinations, but is well worth a visit for this very reason. At the centre of the town are the town hall, a 17th century church and a market square surrounded by many attractive manor houses. If you visit on a Saturday, you can stroll through the weekly market at Mare de Déu and Plaça del Jardí. Costitx is also home to the island's only planetarium and observatory, which also offers guided tours. If you prefer to visit the sea, you can drive about 33 km to the quiet, largely unspoilt beach of Es Penyo. The location of Villa Casa S'Era de Costitx, partly romantically adorned with lush greenery, is ideal for nature lovers who enjoy walking, hiking or cycling through the countryside. But the large property also offers a great place to laze around: right next to the house with its various terrace areas, you will not only find the pool, but also a swing, a table tennis table, a table football table and a great outdoor kitchen. The nearest beach is around 33.8 km away, while the village of Costitx is only 6.8 km away.
