"I took a lot of time looking into where I wanted to stay for my first time in STX…so many great places on a great island…but when I came across The Cove I couldn’t stop going back and looking at all it had to offer..from the room set up, the area and oh boy the view from the room! So I booked! And I should had started saying I NEVER write reviews but The Cove definitely deserves one for sure! DOUG was amazing and every aspect you would want in a hotel owner! After being delayed coming in due to the storm he was there waiting to help us to our room! I love not having to use a normal room key! The room…the pictures do not do it justice! I didn’t tell my girlfriend about to the because I wanted to surprise her ( add the romance package well worth it!) and The Cove surprised me! Opening the door to see the view in the one is breathtaking and the most comfortable hotel mattress that I have ever slept on! Especially after a long on the beach! My girlfriend surprised me with cake balloons and even candles with a little well a lot of help from Doug!!!! Hands down the best hotel experience I have had in well ever! I just mad I didn’t get to spend more time or hope in the pool ha! I can’t wait to spend another vacation in STX and at The Cove! Close to a lot of everything you want to do! And I asked Doug a lot of questions and he definitely gets a gold star from me! "

"When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. The pool was large, overlooking the ocean and well maintained. The location was great. The staff were beyond wonderful. They were so friendly, welcoming and were eager to help with anything we needed. Special shoutout to Lala, WOW, what a hard worker and a genuinely great person!!! The restaurant also got a bad rap on some reviews, however, the staff were absolutely wonderful, excellent service, and the food was pretty good. I would definitely go here again in the future! Thank you to everyone at Tamarind for helping to make our stay memorable!"

"Beautiful hotel with views overlooking the ocean. We loved the location, but it was on the north part of the island and required a car. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed coffee on our gigantic patio every morning. It was quiet too, didn’t even know other guests were there. Highly recommend, and we will be back!"

"We loved the Sand Castle resort. We met the owners, who were lovely, and personally extended themselves for our comfort. The property was very well maintained and right on a lovely stretch of beach. The restaurant and bar were great. There was not anything we did not like about our visit to the Sand Castle Resort. "

"This resprt was great, location was perfect to get to any side of the island. My only complaint would be the mattresses are firm and next time I would bring my pillow from home. :) "
