"This is an ideal property for groups who want to gather and have together time, but also have spaces for individuals to separate and have alone time. We gathered our four grown children, their spouses and 5 grandchildren for a wonderful week. Unlike many vacation rentals that offer bare-bone amenities, this property felt like my home: Quality appliances and tools in the kitchen. Elegant landscaping. Beautiful built-ins with custom cushions. Good mattresses and pure cotton linens and towels. Systems that worked well: AC, WiFi, TV, propane grill, water pressure, washer dryer. All in flawless working order. I so appreciated this, as the family vacation-planner. Coupeville is a sleepy little “Twin Peaks” kind of town, with a used bookstore, ice cream and coffee shops, a bakery or two, an antique store and shops for souvenirs and curiosities. We loved the nearby park and tennis court, which we used several times. Also, the library just a block away. Short hikes for beach combing and sunset watching are just steps away. It’s an idyllic little spot of refuge, and the house sits strongly in that category. 10/10 would recommend. P.S. one surprise to be prepared for is the loft access. We had planned to have grandchildren sleep there, but it is accessed by a tall, vertical wooden ladder. They were too frightened to be up so high and worried about falling if a bathroom trip was needed in the night. This detail needs to be pictured in the listing."

"Enjoyed staying at this pet friendly historic spot. Comfortable king-sized bed and lots of interesting things to look at inside the cabin. Fun to see all the deer around the neighborhood. Very accommodating host who even reached out before our arrival to check on our preferred coffee creamer. Thank you!"

"Excellent location in town with easy access to restaurants and shops. Dedicated parking space and easy load in and load out. Small refrigerator, microwave, Keurig and sink allowed for good coffee and snack preparations. Clean and well maintained with deck on the north side allowing one to take in the town from the convenience of your stay."
