When the water is low tree stumps of some areas of deforestation are uncovered. Whilst it is remote it is served by good roads which are required for logging transport. These roads are, mercifully, however very quiet. The campground is basic, pumped water & pit toilets, which in reality take it one stage from wild camping but that is as it should be in a remote area of natural beauty. Do not bother with your mobile phone here. Not a cat in hell's chance of a signal!! Great! #GreatOutdoors

Great location!

Great location - quick walk to the main building and lifts. Well stocked with dishes and coffee/hot chocolate and all the essentials. Only downside is no dishwasher so dishes and pans were not very clean so I had to wash everything before using. Overall would recommend and would stay there again! Great communication with owner who provided super detailed instructions with lots of great photos on parking/access etc.

2 min drive to lifts

Great occupied with extras, from extra inflatable mattresses to cleaning supplies! Arcade was a hit with the teens. However, getting up the hill to the chalet was challenging, a heads up if traveling with small children

Suite was comfortable but I was disappointed to find the pinball was a per-game extra charge

The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. It's a basement suite but we heard very little noise overhead. I mainly booked for the pinball machine but I was disappointed to find that it required a loonie per game or a toonie for 3 games. There was no mention of this is the listing. If you book, bring loonies and/or toonies with you. The video arcade is free of charge but we were not able to get multiplayer games working. As an example, when we played Mario Kart the second player could accelerate their cart but there was no way to steer (the joystick did not work).

Christmas vacation

The property was clean and tasteful. There was a nice supply of items in the kitchen to support our cooking meals while we were there. We were disappointed with the lack of sound proofing from the other suites. It was very loud. The couch was on its last legs so for sleeping it wasn't very comfortable. Lastly, it was christmas and we had teens with us who wanted to use the arcade advertised and it was a pay arcade? Pretty ridiculous when your paying to be there. The one amenity given was an extra charge. Not cool. Know where too was it advertised. Over all it worked out but I would look for something better next time.

Great stay at castle on the Crag

We had an awesome time hanging out here for a skiing weekend! The location was great and the place was clean and comfortable. The pinball and arcade games were also a huge hit! Would definitely return.

Fun and lots of spaces

Great space, lots of areas/rooms to be in. Fun once you get there but hard to locate as we came near dusk. Down side is the noise from the unit above. Many upsides with good stocked kitchen, nice to have a dining table and living area plus the games room. It was fun. Next time I will call the vallet!
