"Nice, quiet hotel with good breakfast. Older building but rooms have been updated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only negatives are the bathrooms are very tiny and we had no housekeeping the entire three nights we were there. Otherwise a nice place to stay."

"We had a wonderful stay with three families and would definitely recommend this home. The layout was perfect for a large group, with great visibility to the beach and yard, making it easy to keep an eye on the kids. We loved the private beach, kayaks, beach toys, game room, spacious yard, and how close it was to Baxter for groceries and anything else we needed. The home felt warm, welcoming, and communication with the host was excellent.A few improvements would make it even better. The upstairs bedrooms got quite warm with the doors closed, so better airflow or fans would help, and blackout curtains would be a great addition for families with young kids. The grill was slow and didn't heat evenly, there was quite a bit of goose poop around the beach and yard, and we would have appreciated a recycling option.Overall, we made wonderful family memories here and would happily stay again."

"We had an amazing stay here! The VIEW IS INCREDIBLE! Staff was accommodating to our family and our dog! We ended up staying in the water a little later than expected so we were unable to get dinner at the restaurant, but the bartender offered us some beautiful salads, Mac and cheese for the kids, and cheesecake! It was very reasonably priced. We rented e-bikes and road on the trail, we saw a bear! It was pretty crazy. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be back!"

"We had an absolutely fantastic time.Cabin was clean, beautifully taken care of the facility is in a quaint gorgeous area. it's a beautiful little lake that had all kinds of loons on it. We saw loons with baby loons and had a fantastic time swimming in the ultra clear water. entire camp was quiet and well kept and is surrounded by beautiful natural gardens.We definitely will be going again."

"Our extended family enjoyed our time by the lake! The littles loved the shallow water and the sandy beach. Its a fairly shallow and weedy lake so the fisherpeople were disappointed in the fishing results. There were enough spaces throughout the house to spread out and it never felt crowded with the 14 of us. We look forward in going back again."

"This was our second time staying in this private community but our first with this particular cabin. It's a good value but you get what you pay for. It's very bare bones with few amenities and a bit run down. The linens are dated and didn't feel very clean. There was an issue with cleanliness in general - cobwebs, grime. We tried to keep the place tidy but couldn't even find a dust pan for the broom. It would be nice to have something larger than a double bed in the main bedroom. (The kids liked the bunks.)Now for the "pros" -- The location is excellent. It's convenient to grocery stores, starbucks, restaurants, etc -- but still very private and the lake setting is gorgeous. We caught a ton of bass fishing off the dock. (bring your own gear) The communal amenities like the fire pit area and kayaks are available for guests to use which is really great. All in all we had a really fun time. Check in/out is easy and the host was responsive. The cabin could use a refresh but again, for the price and location, it's hard to complain!"
