"The hotel is a well located budget hotel. Some aspects could be improved, - a lick of paint and we found the shower to be a law unto itself BUT for the money… comfortable, clean and an affordable basic breakfast with friendly staff. There’s a huge InterMarche with an excellent very popular cafe restaurant attached. Also Mc Donald’s both very close. Ideal stop off. "

"Lovely and relaxing stay, really well equipped for large groups to get away. Nothing fussy so an ideal choice for a large group with children - plenty of bits to explore and space to run around. Christian was really helpful and quick to respond to any questions, including introduction to chef Alain. Rafting near Foix recommended and a trip to Mirepoix market and the Carcassonne light show. "

"This was our second stay in this cottage, and we had a fantastic time. The house has ideal dimensions for an outdoor holiday cottage and it contains everything you could ask for. Vicdessos is a wonderful location for an activity-based holiday, with incredible hikes within easy reach. It has good shops and an excellent market every Thursday. There is much to interest lovers of history in the immediate vicinity, and there are beautiful towns and good vinyards not far away. We hope to return soon."

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."
