  • Enjoy the milk without buying the cow!! For a very reasonable price enjoy all the amenities this property has to offer! The apartment features 2 bedrooms and two baths, living room, dining room, laundry and parking pad. But the amenities......WOW!! Smith Lake frontage just steps from back door, covered entertainment pavilion, Boat dock, even a private park, almost 1/4 mile of shoreline. Great fishing is just steps away! Just a short boat ride to Smith Lake Park, Big Bridge, and several marinas. This property sits on the main channel, BUT sits back in a private cove that protects you from the noise and waves of the boat traffic. Deep water and great for swimming!

    This Property is a former "mother-in-law" apartment and sits in the basement of the main home. There is no access from the main dwelling into this apartment. It has its own entrance and parking pad (large enough for 3 cars). There is also a private paved boat launch (you will need 4 wheel drive) and a space to park your trailer. The owner keeps their boat in the slip, but you can tie up to the dock. You have full use of dock, pavilion, park.

    Doyle Real Estate Policy:

    Payment is required at time of booking and is fully refundable if canceled 30 days prior to arrival date.

    Minimum age to rent this property is 25 years. Maximum number of guests is 6 people.

    This Property is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

    Check-In Time is 3:00 pm. Check-Out Time is 11:00 am.

    Home owners live in the main house on the property and can be available to answer any questions if needed.

    Access codes will be sent to you on day of arrival.

Great private lake spot!

We spent a week here and had a blast. The dock was awesome to spend time on and fish. If you do fish be sure to bring a net. Believe me, you’re going to hook some big ones.

What a special place!

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful home. The owners were kind and inviting and showed us around the property. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking. We ate meals looking out the window at the scenery. We had our pontoon boat and put it in at Smith Lake Park which was about 3-5mi down the road. We would come back here for sure!

Felt Like Home On The Lake

The property and its owners J&D are amazing. The downstairs apartment was just a 100 feet from the beautiful boat dock. The apartment was quiet with kitchen, family room, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms. For large boat owners, I highly recommend launching at Smith Lake Park, which is a 10 minute boat ride, because the drive into the property is very steep. This is our favorite place to stay on the Smith Lake.

We would stay here again for sure!

We totally enjoyed our stay. You could not ask for more friendly owners. They live there onsite and will answer if you knock if you have any questions. Sweet Couple. the place is beautiful we could use the whole dock with our boat pulled in and 2 jet skis tied to the side. Tons of waterfront to explore. They allowed our dog and we are very thankful for that. The driveway is steep but we did fine in a Truck loading the jet skis. Thanks again.

We LOVE this property and will stay again! We did not bring a boat but the property manager let us know several days in advance that if we brought a boat, we would need 4WD to put in the water at the boat ramp. The property is beautiful! The house is spacious and had all utensils we needed. It was very clean! The owners, Jonas and Doris were nice and kind.

Fun times had by all

Friendly owner who was on-site and greeted us right away to make sure we had what we needed. Awesome location on the cove, lots of privacy. Super steep driveway, need to have a car or truck that can climb a very steep hill. We plan on staying again.

All of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jonas and Doris were a pleasure to meet. We spent a good bit of time with them and enjoyed every minute. Both of them met us as soon as we got there and let us know that if we had any problems to let them know. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful, steep for boats, minor issues

We stayed at the property for a fishing tournament. Very convenient for being directly on the lake. The owners are wonderful and my review has nothing negative to say about them. We were towing a boat and the directions given to us by the property manager had us using a very narrow, steep, gravel driveway to access the property. Our vehicle was 4 wheel drive and yet we were sliding! Very scary! There are actually paved driveways we could have used which the owner told us about after we arrived. If you plan on bringing a boat be aware it is very difficult to navigate the space provided as everything is on a very steep incline. Bring chocks for your boat trailer. The house needs some minor upgrades. The oven was cooking well over 50 degrees. We had to throw out one meal. The couch is peeling causing pleather to stick to you and your clothes. It gets everywhere. Hopefully they will replace or cover it. We had to lay blankets over the couch to sit down. The “futon” is not a futon and really only sleeps one. It will tip over if you lay on one side. Maybe ok for small kids. Kitchen utensils are minimum and some need replacing. It could use a deep cleaning. The surface areas were clean but other areas were not. Several of the warm blankets smelled like dogs. Had to wash some before using them. The boat dock electrical outlets are not working. You have to run extension cords up to main pavilion to charge boat. Bring a couple of long ones! The property itself is beautiful! While these things were minor I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again. Again the owners are precious! These issues were told to property manager so hopefully they will be addressed.

Beautiful location

This property was perfect for us. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating. The property is awesome with paths that make getting to the boat dock easy. The pavilion was perfect for taking a break from the sun but still being outside close to the water. We would definitely stay here again!!

Peaceful retreat

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful long weekend at this beautiful property. We had three large dogs who also had a blast swimming and walking/running around the well kept 20+ acres.
