Great time at Crested Butte

We stayed at this property since it nearly a slopeside accommodation. Clean and well located it was an excellent choice. We would stay there again.

Perfect spot

You cannot find a better location! The unit was quiet, clean, and had absolutely everything you could need (including a much-needed humidifier for this TX gal!) I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the unit. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice but...

The room has a nice view. The bed is comfortable. The fridge is very small. The shower/bathtub needed maintenance and cleaning. (The bathtub jets needed a thorough cleaning. There looked to be black mold in the grout. The drain needs to be snaked to keep the water from backing up.)

Great location, property needs TLC

This property offers a terrific location for getting out into the mountains, heading for hikes or biking. But the room and furnishings are all a bit tired. No A/C (normal for this area), but with only one window that opens, and direct west/afternoon exposure, during the summer the space doesn't cool down until late at night. Handwritten notes left everywhere tell the tale of a property needing some updates, maintenance and general TLC. Overall, an average room within an average property. Sufficient and functional, but not 4 or 5 stars good.

Excellent mountain side location

The Grand Lodge is a five minute walk to the lifts and has great amenities. The unit was well furnished and with a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker you can easily have breakfast and lunch.

Beautiful View from Corner Room

Beautiful views from this Mt. Crested Butte corner room. Room was clean. Comfortable king bed. Large bathroom. Small fridge and microwave. Ample onsite parking. Property is convenient to the town of Crested Butte; just a short drive down to the village.

Best value but...

Considering the location, you can't beat the price. There are some issues with this unit though:1. Bathtub and sink drain poorly2. Internet in room is weak and many tasks cannot be completed on-line.3. Mattress is old and soft4. If you like good coffee, bring your own! Folgers is provided.

Pros: Good location, close to base area. Right next to the town shuttle pick up station too. Food and coffee available nearby but there’s also a mini fridge and microwave in room. No problems with the door/lock to check myself in. Cons: Bathroom not clean. Uncomfortable mattress and pillows so flat they needed to be folded over. Stains on sheets, comforter, and seat cushions. Chairs legs were also really wobbly. Dirty silverware. You need to print your own parking pass but there isn’t a business center or office of any sort to do it there. I was fortunate to get assistance with the parking pass from someone who works for a different, unrelated property manager in the building.

Very Disappointing

The bed needs replacing because it’s old and sags in the middle. Horrible nights sleep for both of us. The appliances are old, toaster didn’t work without holding down the lever, never seen a coffee pot sooo small and extension cords hanging everywhere just to make them work. Towels & linens are worn out, plus we had just 1 wash cloth each for 4 days. No cups or glasses, just two old small chipped coffee cups. The TV control did not work until I pulled out the batteries and cleaned the contacts with my nail file. All in all, extremely disappointed for the price.

Crested Butte July 4 Getaway

Crested Butte is lovely; a small charming town. The drive from Denver is gorgeous. The Grand Lodge is very conveniently located. There is a big spacious lobby and ample parking. The wifi was slow and glitchy. One elevator was not working, ever, and the second elevator also went out of service the morning of our departure. This unit is on the 4th floor with a parking lot view. The description cites 300 square feet, but it has very poor use of space. When you enter the unit, there is a long useless corridor, leading to a small, cramped bedroom. It is a challenge to walk around the bed, given there is also a small table and two chairs and two night stands. The bathroom is dark with very dated fixtures. There is a small refrigerator and microwave on a counter in the corner, with two cups, 2 plates, and 2 forks. Overall, this unit was adequate, but a bit of a disappointment. Nonetheless, visiting Crested Butte was great!

A great time was had.

It was the perfect place for my daughter and myself. She had a friend who was staying nearby and who was with us a lot. The room was great for a visitor. The table was perfect for a card game.
