We loved the Yurt!
Was cold when we went. But the heater provided was sufficient. But take extra blankets. Matress and pillows were great! Super cozy. Lots of tools provided. Lights, kitchen utensils, and a few towels and such were there. Kitchen was very useful with flat top and grill. Babbling brook was awesome. Plenty of room in the yurt. Also, a really good location. About 40 minutes max from anywhere you want to go. And boone is clise enough for a dinner out if you want it. Also, close parking makes car camping a sinch. Plenty of wood provided. Toilet very clean. All and all, was a very successfully glamping event for me and my two girls. I plan to go back soon solo to do more hiking at elk knob and around the parkway and grandfather.

Clean and Roomy Tent
My family and I are novice campers so this was perfect. The tent was big enough for 4 people and our luggage, clean and dry. We kept food by the outdoor covered kitchen space during the day, and in our car at night. The running mountain brook a few feet from the tent is the best sound machine to relax to. There is some limited walking around the property available, but a true hike requires a drive to a nearby state park - like Elk Knob mountain 20 min away. There is an outhouse (clean as outhouses go) and the propane grill has an attached skillet surface. The kitchen had everything we needed including a tea kettle, plates, cups, and cooking/eating utensils. We packed food in coolers and 2L of drinking/cooking/teeth brushing water per person per day . Two nights was perfect - beyond that we were in need of running warm water. Dan and Stacy were great about communicating and it is obvious they take great care to make their guests comfortable.

Weekend getaway
Dan and Tracy were very helpful throughout our stay! We had a massive storm followed by a freezing cold night, but the tent held up. Beautiful skies, the sound of the creek is so relaxing, and friendly neighborhood doggos dropping by to say hi (:

Beautiful property, kind hosts
We enjoyed our stay with Tracy and Dan. The property is beautiful and the yurt very comfortable. We loved the sound of the babbling brook running alongside the yurt. Dan and Tracy were accommodating hosts. After our first night, we asked if we could rent out the tiny house near the yurt to give us and our two 14 year old girls a little more space. They agreed and I can say we thoroughly enjoyed the tiny house as well! It was very chilly during our visit and Dan made sure we had plenty of propane for the heater in the yurt and firewood for our glamping area. We definitely recommend a visit!

Relaxing getaway by the river
We only stayed one night but definitely would’ve stayed longer if we could. Sweet spot near a river where we could fly fish and enjoy the evening by the fire. Everything was neat and clean and even with the rain we slept great.
