We were told the washing machine did not work and the kitchen smelled of gas - even when the tank was turned off. Several small issues and the host was fairly responsive, but we had a great deal of difficulty finding the property when we arrived (as there was minimal information provided) and had to disrupt several neighbours in order to find it. "Heerlijk ruime badkamer, prima bedden met goede matrassen. Fijn dat er handdoeken, theedoeken en beddengoed was voorzien. Wasmachine en afwasmachine mag worden gebruikt. Erg prettig en handig. Heerlijk terras met ligstoelen, tuintafel, tuinstoelen en grote parasol. Als iets ontbrak werd het zeer snel opgelost. TV beschikbaar (alleen Franstalige zenders)"

"L'hôte est très gentil et sympathique. Par contre, l'odeur de renfermé affreux. Aucuns volets ne ferment hermétiquement, les chambres donnent sur une rue très passante. Volet roulant soit manquant soit bloqué, sans avoir été prévenu par l'hôte. Une fenêtre ne ferme pas car le loquet reste dans la main. Une fenetre côté balcon ne ferme a clé. Les finitions j'en parle même pas. Lave vaisselle inutilisable car pas d'évacuation d'eau prévue. Entendre les insultes d'un des voisins à son entourage...

"It was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was shabby and it was some sort of shower kit that combined sink, toilet and shower altogether with little separation. There is a big step up to enter and exit that was awkward. Room is tiny but functional. The rate is very low so one night is ok, Staff is terrific. "

Personally I would have sacked her and found a new manager. "

"Stayed 3 nights. Staff were excellent. Buffet breakfast was good value and had lots of variety. The evening meals were high quality. The room was spacious and had everything we needed (apart from a kettle). We are travelling by train so we found it very convenient for the bus station. Be aware that there is no food Sunday evening, but McDonald's is across the road. Will certainly stay in Ibis again."
