"My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Everything was well thought out and check-in instructions were clear and simple. It was great to have the village only a stones throw away, yet it was extremely quiet during our stay, even when it was pouring down with rain. Although we had to get some bits for the fire, it was handy to have a shop nearby to get it. Wi-Fi isn’t particularly strong but was fine to get by. "

"The room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was really clean and a pleasure to use. Holy moly was the bed comfy?! And so big I lost my husband! The only downside I would say was that the water glasses were so very small, when I needed a drink I'd have to fill the glass up 3 times! And also, the tiny nescafe coffee sachets are never a joy, quite the opposite. Investing in some better coffee for the rooms would a huge plus! But the yorshire, absolute beauty! The staff were all so fabulous; helpful, charming, polite and a shining example of the hotel's overall quality. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely consider staying again."

"Checking in and out was essentially done by self-service on screens at reception, although there was a staff member there to assist. The Club room was spacious and clean. Large bed and comfortable bed. Good sound proofing. We were there for an organised dinner. The staff were very helpful, the food was good and the drinks at the bar were not outrageously priced. They could have stocked a (Scottish) malt whisky, but otherwise there was plenty of choice. Overall, we had a great stay. We did not use the gym or pool, but they looked to be well maintained."
