"We loved our stay & it was wonderful being so close to Lake Superior! There aren’t a ton of food options nearby so I’d suggest bringing your own to cook there if you have any picky eaters. We’ll definitely be back if we get the chance!"

"Second time staying at one of the Freighter's View accommodations. The view is unbeatable! Our stay was decent and we will stay again. The stay would have been a 5, except some of the niceties could have been better- enough bowls for 4 people, a mixing bowl, enough toilet paper for the whole stay... as someone who has cleaned numerous rentals for years, maybe I'm just picky. All in all, though, affordable and a nice stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay. It is remote, but we normally camp at the two heart and this was a wonderful end to the day with a real shower. Paul answered quickly on concerns we had no problems with directions or our stay. I would book this property again."

"My family enjoyed our stay so much. The property is beautiful and the lake is divine. There is no beach as the pictures describe but that’s to be expected with any of the Great Lakes, some years, depending on water levels, you just don’t get one. The other unexpected challenge for me was the road noise. The cottage is pretty close to the road and the road is loud when traffic is present. By the evening it settles down a bit. The extra little cottage/storage shed has a nice bed and view of the lake, which was a nice addition. If you stay in warmer months you must do the waterfalls. They are spectacular and just minutes from the cottage. Would love to stay again."
