"This was the the first time I came to Dugi otok this time of the year (late March). We have chosen two houses (Aunt Regina House and Grandpa Mate House) in Dragove as a starting point for a bicycle tour to the Veli Rat Lighthouse on Saturday and to Lake Mir and Telaščica Bay on Sunday. The houses are situated at the top of the hill and offer a phenomenal view of the sea and the islands. The houses are obviously equipped for the use of the owners so that the entire equipment and all the furniture...

"We found out on arrival that the place we’d booked had had a sewage issue so our host had scrambled to find us somewhere else. While we really appreciated that effort and the fact she met us at the ferry so late, the new place wasn’t great. No wifi, no nearby parking and very dusty. We were told it was available for one less day then we’d booked so we said we’d leave a day early rather than her having to find us somewhere else which worked out fine but meant we paid for accommodation for that...

"Having decided to travel during Covid, we had the great pleasure of vastly reduced crowds and additional ease of travel. Toncis flat is situated above a magical bay with few other properties. There are two very good restaurants which serve the freshest seafood. The pool is as serene as it looks, with dining areas, and a short minute walk down to the bay for a dip in the Adriatic. Tonci is very knowledgable of the island and was very helpful if we needed some extra ideas for our daily trips...
