A welcoming comfortable and restful atmosphere. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend two nights to relax and breathe in the deep crystal air
Beautiful cottage and property. The kids love feeding the ponies & chickens and cuddles with the dogs. Janine was such a delight. Very thoughful hosts! A welcome letter and basket of fresh eggs on the counter at arrival. Stunning views, beautiful bird songs, just magic. Only problem was we didn't book for longer. Thank you for having us!
Excellect quiet cottage with all amenities. Very clean with lovely furnishings, linen and bathware.Owner Jonine very friendly and approachable.Would recommend if looking for a quiet comfortable stay in easy reach of all Ferguson Valley area has to offer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, was relaxing and peaceful, would highly recommend.
The hosts were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We look forward to returning.
My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the cottage. Jonine and Jeff were great hosts and have a beautiful property with lots to see and do on the farm and in the surrounding valley. The cottage was very comfy and clean. Thank you so much, we would love to return!
A sweet cottage to relax in and take in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Bush and farm walks at the door. Friendly, welcoming host - goes above and beyond. Super comfy beds. A beautiful weekend away.
Cozy cottage with all facilities including wood heater. Nice balcony to sit, enjoy a coffee and read. Very pretty lake/property, back to nature with walking trails.
Very accommodating host.
Recommend for a peaceful break.
Beautiful property, everything you need is there.A fantastic, idyllic peaceful surrounds. The host Jonine and Jeff very warm and approachable, nothing too difficult. Very handy to breweries, wineries and Ferguson Valley. A must see the Heritage Park,Dardanup.
We booked 2nd time and will be definetely back again this year. Lovely property manager. Thanks for all the little treats we got provided!
Amazing house with everything that you need, doesn’t matter in what season you go😉
Love the fresh air and being away from the city life!
The cottage was clean, full of commodities, and comfortable. Located in an amazing property where you have beautiful horses, wildlife and a lake for the fishing lovers.
The host was welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back there.
Our winter retreat was wonderful. We loved sitting on the verandah overlooking sheep in the paddocks. Also exploring the property and nearby trails. Cosy beds and lounges. Fireplace. Helpful host. Great base to experience Ferguson Valley. Highly recommended.
We had the most relaxing few days at Carringal with a group of friends in the Ferguson Valley. The gist Jonine was so lovely, friendly and accomodating.
The cottage was beautiful, clean and very comfortable and we loved sitting on the veranda watching the sheep and wrens. Loved picking fresh blueberries from the vege patch too.
Thanks Jonine, we'll be back.
If I chose two words to describe this property, they would be "welcoming" and "generous".
We entered to find a comfortable, cozy, well furnished place with lots of little extras to make us feel welcome.
The location is terrific for a quiet stay, with good access to larger, busier tourist towns. Margaret River is only a little over an hour away, while Bunbury, with its excellent Bunbury Farmers' Market and large supermarkets, is only half an hour away for those who wish to self cater.
It's also close to the Ferguson Valley, with quirky Gnomesville and many wineries and breweries to visit and enjoy lunch, and for dinner Boyanup Tavern (excellent pizzas) and Dardanup Tavern are less than 15 minutes away.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware, even an espresso maker and coffee. Our lovely hostess had left some farm fresh eggs, wine, milk and chocolates in the fridge and a platter of limes and avocados on the table, as well as a range of basic supplies in the cupboards and freezer.
The furniture was comfortable and the bedding soft and warm. There were plenty of towels and blankets if needed, with liquid soap supplied at the sinks and in the shower. Books and games were available, as well as a TV. Phone reception is spotty but there is good WiFi.
We loved watching the birds at the feeder (food supplied) and birdbath. I was unable to walk in the nearby forest, but if you're mobile it looks inviting.
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return
Jonine was very welcoming, inviting us to arrive early. The cottage was very comfortable and homely, with fresh eggs and avocados and a bottle of wine in the fridge, a very generous touch. Would love to return in the cooler months when the land is greener.
What a lovely cottage in an amazing setting surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna ,with all the amenities you’d need both Cosy and comfortable. The host was warm friendly and inviting and we highly recommend ..thanks
This was our second visit and it was even better than the first. It is so clean and fresh and beautifully decorated and so well appointed. The area is very peaceful with lots of wildlife to watch. Lots of good walks in the area too.
The host was very welcoming, assisted with all the requested. The cottage was neat, clean and maintained well with real indoor plants, books and fragnances. The fruit and vegetable garden was very well maintained farm with healthy fruits (Grapefruit, fig, pomegranate, blueberry) and vegetables. A complete amazing experience.
