"I was disappointed with the customer service during our stay. When we asked about the possibility of a later checkout, the staff member was rude and dismissive. I completely understand that hotels are busy and that late checkouts cannot always be accommodated. However, a certain level of courtesy and professionalism should be expected when speaking with guests. We were simply asking a question, and a polite response would have been appreciated. Even when a request cannot be accommodated, the way staff communicate with guests makes a difference. Unfortunately, this interaction left us with a negative impression of an otherwise anticipated stay."

"Our host, Mark was very kind- even stopped in to introduce himself and offer for us to let him know if we were in need of anything. The place is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable, the rain shower was a great bonus. It was nice having the use of the washer and dryer. It was a nice place to stay! The rooms were spacious and comfortable."

"Lovely home on a serene lake with everything you need. Amazing view of the lake, top notch star gazing, fall color leaf peeping, water play- you name it. Spacious enough for 4 couples ! Super clean, comfortable beds, and a neighborhood cat that was a delight! Would stay again in a minute"

"We utilized Nathan’s home as our Team Building Retreat for my Team and I. The home itself was located within walking distance of beautiful Crystal lake! The fire pit was perfect for the 10 of us to relax around d the fire each night! The home itself had so much to offer from the games room to large areas where we all could get together and talk, play games. Each bedroom had more than enough space for each of us as well as a nice comfy bed. Th hot tub was a nice extra touch. We did a pontoon boat ride one which was so fun and the very next night, we got to watch the local car races. The local restaurant, The Wetspot was with walking distance and had some delicious food. The only complaint we had was the condition of the outdoor grills. Both were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. Nathan and his wife were very kind and very accommodating for our whole trip. He apologized about the condition of grills and made sure the cleaning crew knew about it. Nathan and his wife were by far the nicest. I would recommend the Crystal Lake property to anyone who needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You can’t help but feel relaxed and at peace. Thank you again Nathan!!"

"House was very clean and cozy. The backyard was large in size and the hot tub sat on a cute back patio. The house is close to town and an excellent spot to relax while in Greenville, MI. Definitely would rent again."

"The cottage was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake. All of the little touches through out the cottage (throws on the sofa and chair) made us feel welcomed. We only stayed 2 days during our daughter's wedding but definitely plan on another stay when we can enjoy the kayaks and bicycling around the lake."
