Talbot Hotel Wexford

Talbot Hotel Wexford

10/10 Excellent
"The Talbot is a home from home. You are made to feel extremely comfortable and welcome, nothing is too much trouble and the service is second to none. The food is amazing, the location is central to Wexford town and the view across the Quay is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are so relaxing and have the most comfortable quality furniture from the beds down to the pillows and seating in the room. The towels are large and fluffy. The toiletries are of good quality and the teas and coffees in the room are Bewleys. They think of everything. The most comfortable and relaxing stay that I have had in any hotel"

"Check in was smooth. Parking was easy. (Hint: keep a key card to exit the car park then return just after leaving car park.) A layout map might be helpful as it can be a little confusing. The floors were not cleaned. Swept and looked clean but the bottom of our feet told a different story. We made sure to wear shoes or socks the whole time. Next time I’d bring a mop. Location was amazing! We loved being able to walk to dinner and the pier for beautiful sun rises."

"The staff here are so friendly and helpful, they really make the place special. We had an early check out to catch the ferry and they gave us a lovely takeaway breakfast ready for us as we headed away."

Hotel Curracloe

Hotel Curracloe

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was excellent except there was a very bad smell at times in our room especially night time..smelt like odour from septic tank which made it hard to sleep. The following two days we stayed in B and B but always went back to the hotel for something to eat as staff, food and drink was excellent. "

Beautifully Restored Coach House In Woodlands Overlooking the Suir Estuary

Beautifully Restored Coach House In Woodlands Overlooking the Suir Estuary

10/10 Excellent
"We just spent a wonderful week at the Coach House and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything was comfortable, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The thoughtful personal touches—especially the delicious homemade brown bread, wine, and chocolates & so much more—made it all the more special and truly memorable. Brendan and Jean have thought of everything to make The Coach House the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the beautiful courtyards & spent many hours reading & listening to the birds. We will definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway."
