Comfortable and cozy getaway in the heart of Crosslake

We call this place "The Shed". It is part of a commercial building and convenient to everything Crosslake has to offer. We are right on the snowmobile trail, close to bike trails, ATV trails, golf courses, the Whitefish chain of lakes, hiking, shopping, restaurants, bars and wedding venues. Many of our guests visit family or friends on the lake and like to have their own space to come back to in the evening. We have plenty of room to park your boat, snowmobile or Atv trailer.

The Shed is perfect!

The Shed is the perfect place for a small group who needs all the basic ammentitites. We stayed here for some out of town work and it was perfect our group. It was very clean and comfortable, the pricing was amazing and Pam was very respenosive whenever I had a question. We will definetly stay here again!

Perfect cozy and comfortable home

We had an amazing time ice fishing on Mills Lake and Leech Lake, and this property was the perfect fit for our needs. The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. Five stars and a big thumbs up from us!

"The Shed" was a great place to stay!

We stayed here for four nights. We enjoyed our stay. It was a convenient spot for us to stay while we explored the area during our house hunting trip. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. I got a kick out of cute sayings in the bathroom!

Sweet cozy spot!

Our family stayed at this VRBO during a hockey tournament. It was so comfortable and adorable. Felt like home away from home. Would definitely recommend it if you need a place to stay in the Crosslake area!

Anniversary Stay

We loved the location and how cozy the Shed felt/ was. The holiday decorations were a nice added touch. Even though we didn’t have any snow to enjoy the winter month we still had a lovely relaxing weekend! The beds are awesome!

Weekend Stay

We were in town for a wedding and asked if we could check in a little to be in time for the rehearsal and sent a message the owners were quick to reply. The owners were also very accommodating to allow us a late check out as well. The property is just is as described. It was clean and beautifully decorated along with descriptions of how to use the appliances.

Perfect Girls' Getaway

Two tired moms Mother's Day Weekend Mindfulness Triathlon PerfectionMy best friend and I spent Mother's Day Weekend at this cozy little spot. It was a perfect location for everything we needed, including great coffee down the street at Dark Horse Brew. The house was clean and well stocked with all the basics. We didn't hear any noise from either of the neighboring businesses. For being Fishing Opener and Mother's Day weekend it was very quiet. If you want to get away and not worry about anyone bothering you, I would highly recommend this place. Bring your snacks, netflix logins, and comfy jammies and forget about having to cater to anyone one else. Thanks for a great trip!

Cool interior

This was a good location for us. Close to the Crosslake boat ramp and we could park our boat and trailer at the property. The interior was decorated very cool. Loved the big vintage sign in the entry way. You will be impressed once you walk in the door. Very roomy. I will definitely book again!

At "The Shed" for 8 days

Everything was just as listed and pictured in the rental listing. It was exceptionally convenient that AC outlets and USB charging ports were found on the nightstands in the bedrooms. There is a huge "clock" on the far wall you see when entering. It always reads 6:30 because it's only decorative. The only "real" clock is on the microwave. We were surprised to find coffee in a kitchen drawer, and that was an unexpected surprise. I am not sure if that is furnished with the rental or left by a previous guest. Although The Shed is only a few hundred feet from the highway, we did not experience much noise from the traffic. The remote controlled air-conditioning unit worked well. The big television was great and provided plenty of entertainment options. The WiFi was trouble-free and fast. FYI, there is no washer/dryer but that was not a huge issue for us. There is a laundromat next to the Ace Hardware store location in Crosslake, just a couple miles away. We did not use that facility. Although this rental has a "no dogs" policy, there is a professional boarding facility about one block north and they could provide pet lodging, if necessary. We have stayed at numerous places in the Crosslake and Gull Lake areas and this was by far the best experience in our previous 5+ years.
