"This property reminded me more of an air bnb style rental with a small full kitchen and all the amenities needed. Very quaint and quiet. Plenty of clothing storage if you plan on staying longer. My only suggestion would be hooks inside the shower for washcloths/bathing suits but also on the walls for hanging towels. We ended up using the hangers from the closet and hanging in the shower. The covered docking area was a little tricky to navigate and our boat got scuffed a little bit with the tides but nothing major. Well worth the money and convenience of local dining, shopping and night life, and to be able to include the boat on our staycation getaway. The ramp is down the road and can pay to park trailer in the property behind the hotel."

"We had a fantastic time at The Mermaid House. Plenty of room, great fun in the pool. Used the kayaks a couple of times to visit Three Sisters. Caught catfish from the dock, heard an alligator bellow while fishing, then saw him swim by the next day. Had a visit from a manatee right in front of our dock-couldn’t have asked for more. Crawdaddy’s Restaurant was great because of convenience and happy hour prices on oysters, shrimp and drinks. Ice maker was great and arcade games were fun. The host was super fast at responding. I have nothing negative to say! Totally recommend."
