I stayed for a week and needed a quiet, serene place to relax and unwind; this is the perfect location for that. I really appreciate the hosts providing all needed supplies and making this a great experience! Thank you!
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our 4th of July stay! The Cabin is clean and I love the amenities including the warm welcome bread.
My husband and I enjoyed the view and the peace and quite.
This was a great "cabin" like feel for our getaway. We love nature and the woods behind and the sunrise coming up in the morning behind the trees was just amazing! We appreciated all the amenities and homemade bread. Very easy access to Meramec Springs which is where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed our stay!
If you're looking for a quiet spot in the woods, this is it! Beautiful & rustic finished basement turned into a VRBO. Lots of room outside to explore and enjoy nature. All the amenities available for a couple on a weekend getaway or a small family. Thank you to Shawn for providing such a nice space!
We enjoyed our stay. Shawn was a great host and made the effort for extra touches to make our stay welcoming. If you plan to cook in the kitchenette, be sure to bring what you need, there are pots and pans and a stove, a few utensils and salt/pepper but not much else. The view is lovely and close to the river for kayaking etc. We had what we needed for a short stay of 2 days.
The walkout basement of this cabin was easy to find, easily accessible, clean and well stocked. The host was available and communitive. I have already recommended it to half a dozen people. Such a fantastic get away.
We are a family of four. One is 17 and the other is a 1 year old. We came to Cuba to go on a float trip, but we were rained out. However, in the cabin were several recommendations for activities (indoor as well) AND board games. That helped! We also enjoyed the fire pit when it wasn’t raining and loved all the plant life surrounding the cabin.
The cabin was very clean and cozy which is very important to us. We had plenty of towels. Plenty of coffee which I appreciate as well! We even got the chance to make some bread that was provided.
All in all, we would love to come back. I loved how private the cabin was and that we had the place to ourselves.
The host, Shawn was very attentive and responsive.
Thank you for accommodating us!
Beautiful private location. Perfect for my sisters and i to get away. Just down the road from our Grandparents old farm, so lots of extra memories for us. Thank you for everything! It was great!
Fox Ridge was beautiful! The host welcomes you with fresh baked bread that was absolutely delicious and exactly what I needed after a long drive! There was an issue with the water heater and the host Shawn communicated back with me and fixed the issue very promptly. Will definitely be back!
We stayed on our way home from Texas to Michigan and this was the perfect spot. Very easy to check in-lots of lighting even though we came after dark-which helped immensely. We hauled a small trailer and Shawn was very accommodating for parking. The homemade bread was a very warm welcome after being on the road all day and the whole cabin felt warm and homey. We were able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch before heading out, and being able to listen and walk around was a great way to start the last leg of our journey. We wish we could have stayed longer-and this will definitely be on our list for another trip to Missouri.
