❤️1937 Cabin near Lake Glenville - 50 Acre Estate - Private Hike & Views! 10⭐️

Our 1937 Cabin located near Lake Glenville has been completely renovated top to bottom with no cost spared in furnishings. Everything new!!! Very private on 50 acre estate and the only rental on our property with great access to Lake Glenville, Cashiers and Highlands. Level entry, no steps!!! Gorgeous 1 Bedroom with a new queen bed, luxury linens, Lexington nightstand, small antique round side table, bench, small custom closet and Regina Andrew lighting, 1 Bath with Ronbow vanity, slate tiles on floor, tiled shower with glass door and a fully stocked kitchen. Gray custom kitchen cabinets and large island with microwave and granite countertops, glass top stove with double ovens and counterdepth fridge with bottom freezer drawer. Please note there is NO DISHWASHER or garbage disposal.

The washer and dryer is located in the pantry area. There is wood flooring throughout the cabin except bathroom’s slate tile. 65” Sony new smart TV mounted in living area above Restoration Hardware console. Mounted TV pulls out and swivels for best viewing. Direct TV , Netflix set up, Wi-Fi and Landline are included.

Two covered porches with large screened porch in back, all furnished with outdoor seating, tables, cushions and rocking chairs. Porches and walkway have red oak flooring. Private driveway and close, level parking . The fire pit area has a stone bench and two black Adirondack chairs with a custom firewood structure, plenty of firewood, kindling and starters. The 1937 Cabin has an automated full house generator. Elevation 3900! There is a hike on the property that is offered to our two guests staying at the cabin. It is 1/2 mile uphill the whole way and there is 300 feet that would be considered a strenuous hike with the most gorgeous views! Elevation 4300! We have planted 4000 rhododendrons, mostly purple on the property and they are planted all the way to the top!


We are located near the northwest side of Lake Glenville, 2.8 miles from public Lake Glenville boat ramps, 3 miles to Pines Recreation Area with beach and picnic area overlooking Lake Glenville, 8.3 miles to Cashiers and 14 miles to Highlands.

Many nearby hikes in the area with Yellow Mountain, High Falls and Whiteside Mountain being very popular. Lots of info in the cabin welcome guide about hikes, waterfalls and restaurants.

Fabulous home!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was even better than our expectations!! Clean, beautifully appointed, special”surprises” from our host, beautiful grounds!!! A perfect getaway. We were in town for a wedding, but chose to do nothing else except a couple of dinners out, because the home was so relaxing!! A much needed vacation for us!! Thank you so much!!!

Gorgeous!

Very beautiful cabin, very clean! Has everything you need and then some. The hike on the property is not long, worth the effort to get to the top. Beautiful landscaping! Perfect couple get away!

Perfect cabin getaway!

This cabin was wonderful! Great hike on property to top of mountain with beautiful hidden gazebo and fire pit area, but a climb! Place was fully equipped for cooking with little extra snacks and staples to welcome you. Great firepit out back and close to many waterfalls, hikes and of course Highlands. A gem of a place!

Incredible location. Close enough to be convenient to everything yet remote enough to be secluded. Perfect accommodations for the two of us. Everything that we could think of was provided on site by the owners. Can’t wait to have an excuse to stay again.

Oh my! The cabin is perfect! It has a well equipped kitchen, fine linens and extra amenities. Very comfortable and super clean, it surpassed expectations in all respects. Beautiful mountain setting. Excellent communication with Selina. Loved my stay! Highly recommend!

The cabin was immaculate and well appointed with top notch furnishings. Everything you need for a home away from home getaway is supplied. Property and grounds were breathtaking. I didn’t want to leave. The hike to the top of the mountain is well worth it. The view is spectacular! Had s'mores at the fire pit and grilled out each night. Rented a boat on the lake and saw all the waterfalls.We walked the 3.5 mile loop recommend in the welcome book and enjoyed it so much!! This is the best VRBO we’ve rented and we will return.Thanks for a memorable experience!!

Anniversary get away

This place is absolutely spectacular. The pictures don’t do it any justice. Super clean inside and out. It’s the perfect place to stay for a getaway. If I could rate it higher I would. The host was super helpful and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be making this our regular place to stay.

Very nice accommodations and property is beautiful. Fire pit was perfect with everything you needed to have a fire up and burning in just a few minutes. Distance to Cashiers and Highlands was not a concern.

Great Get-away

The home was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the two of us. The host had everything we could need including some complimentary snacks and beverages in the refrigerator. We were welcomed with the lights on and soft music playing.

Absolutely wonderful!

The cabin is beautifully updated, extremely clean and they have literally thought of every detail, which only makes the stay that much more enjoyable! The owners are charming and their 50-acre estate is amazing, you can see the love they have poured into their land. There is even a fun & adventurous hike you can do during your stay (we did it almost daily while there). If we could give a higher rating than 5-stars, we would.

Bucolic Bungalow

Beatutiful, manicured private setting with flowering shrubs and hummingbirds flying by. Interior was immaculate and tastefully done, perfect for a couples getaway! The owners were very nice and it is obvious that they want you to have a great time. They provided drinks and smores fixings along with other staples in the kitchen. We will definitely return!!

Quick getaway

Loved the house and all the little extra amenities added to make us feel like special guests! All the decor was beautiful. Hike on property was nice, enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. It is far from highlands but that was noted when I booked. Only complaint would be us Floridians aren’t experienced on these snaky roads as everyone passed us by! lol wonderful place to enjoy a weekend getaway! Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic Cabin in the Mountains

We booked this property to celebrate a significant birthday and could not have chosen a more perfect spot. This cabin is well appointed and thoughtfully designed. It was the best decision to book this property, from the cozy kitchen and living space to the bedroom and screened porch. The firepit was well stocked with wood. If you do the hike, it’s steep but worth it. A great way to get your exercise in! Thanks Selina for making our stay memorable.

I would give 6 star rating if I could. This place it the absolute best in the area. Host is attentive and has the unit in pristine condition for the arrival of the guest. No cost spared in furnishing and equipping this unit. Fluffy towels, great shower, and amazingly comfortable bed. The hike has a finishing view that makes all the hard work walking up there well worth it. Highly recommend!!!

Special Place

Selina was a great communicator who gave great directions and awesome recommendations. The entire property is even better in person than it looks like online. The cabin is well decorated and super cozy. Unfortunately we did not get to use the fire pit, but it was adorable. Selina had even put fatwood and a lighter in a bucket next to the firewood. She had also supplied smore items and little snacks. The hike on the property is steep, but worth the view at the top! Selina's attention to detail was so appreciated, She literally thoght of everything you might need! while at their cabin. The location is also convenient between both Highlands and Cashiers. You won't regret your stay here!

Weekend getaway

Beautiful property, and very well maintained. House is upgraded and gorgeous inside, can’t say enough about how nice this house is. The house was stocked with essentials, and even drinks in the refrigerator for the guests, what a nice surprise! Coffee on the back porch in the morning was so relaxing. We look forward to coming back to this property again when my husbands knee is healed, and do the hike to see the blue ridge mountains! We had a great getaway weekend.

Neat, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, perfect spot for a couple. Selina was most attentive and helpful with directions and recommendations. The kitchen was well supplied, and we cooked in each night. The fridge was stocked with juices and mixers, and the ice balls were great for old fashioneds. We made the hike to the top, and we had lunch with a wonderful view. Enjoyed smores at the fire pit. Had a great stay and hope we can return.
