Amazing place

Fantastic stay

Fantastic stay at Tarskavaig. Beautiful accommodation and welcome hosts. In a perfect location for exploring the area and also within walking distance of the Peat Inn - an added bonus!! We look forward to return trip in the near future.

The facilities are top-notch and homely. Of particular note during our stay was the breakfast. The hosts schedule each guest into their own morning breakfast slot, where you can have a private meal by the fireplace, overlooking the large farm next door. The food was fantastic, and so was the service and atmosphere. I'd revisit without a doubt.

A fantastic stay at the Tarskavaig B&B! Alan and Fiona were extremely welcoming hosts, ready to help and assist where they could. The full Scottish breakfast was a particular highlight The room was fantastic, well appointed, clean with brilliant views out over the countryside. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Tarskavaig B&B should you be in the St Andrews area.

Exceptional B&B

Stayed for one night. Couple were very friendly and the breakfast the next morning was fab. Room was super comfy and clean with a big bathroom and great shower. My daughter was graduating the next morning in St Andrews so it was very convenient and a quick drive into the town. The lady was really helpful when we were getting ready in the morning setting up the ironing board for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Easy to find ( well marked). Warm welcome from Fiona. Spotlessly clean, large room, super comfy king bed & linens. Modern bathroom, high quality furnishings, quiet & amazing views. Beautiful breakfast.....continental & full cooked. We will be back & stay for longer.

Amazing BnB with amazing views of green fields with roaming sheep and the not too distant ocean. Fiona and Allan are really exceptional hosts! I recommend this bed and breakfast highly for a relaxing stay that is close to St. Andrews with fantastic views. The breakfast room is lovely. We had delicious eggs Benedict and many treats. The bedroom is roomy with a comfortable bed and a sparkling clean bathroom.

Very friendly and accommodating owner! Spacious room, comfy bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast was terrific. Was fun watching the chickens behind the house! Owner had lots of suggestions for locals places to see. In a quiet location in the countryside, but very close to St. Andrews and other coastal towns. Excellent stay, highly recommended!

Romantic overnight stay

b&b carino nelle campagne di st. Andrews

La struttura in sè è carina e la proprietaria, Fiona, è estremamente disponibile e gentile. Ho trovato un poco di confusione generale, poca attenzione per i particolari: le bottiglie di shampoo e bagno schiuma del discount distribuite in bagno a caso e mezze vuote ed in parte impolverate, la saponetta Palmolive in doccia (...), un solo asciugamano per il viso in due, il forte odore di cucina in camera, a colazione le scatole di cereali (del discount) aperte e mezze vuote e la cucina a vista (apprezzabile) in disordine; insomma per 130 € a notte per una camera in una struttura in campagna, anche no. La colazione è nella media, materie prime nostrane come le uova raccolte dal pollaio retrostante, poca scelta, ribadisco, sempre in proporzione al costo della camera. Un poco sotto le aspettative. Mi spiace.

Tolle Unterkunft in der Nähe von St Andrews

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit schönen, großzügigen Zimmern, sowie tollem Frühstück, das auch für Allergiker viel zu bieten hat. Eine großartige Gastgeberin machte den Aufenthalt perfekt. War aus unserer Sicht die beste Unterkunft auf der Rundreise durch Schottland.
