"We had a lovely stay at the Talbot. We had requested early check-in and were delighted when we arrived and the room was ready. Excellent friendly staff from restaurant, bar and the reception. Our room was a triple overlooking the river. We found the food great and enjoyed the swimming pool too. "

"Lovely hotel, the staff were all friendly and courteous, beautiful room with river view, balcony and very comfy sitting area. Great breakfast, the food in dry dock bar was also lovely. The pool was great too. A really peaceful stay, would highly recommend it. Even with vents on it wasn't too noisy. "

"Had a great weekend there with the family we stayed in a family room, the only downside to the weekend was the constant smell of a plant based drug which was not ideal with 3 small kids,nothing that the hotel could of done to stop this."
