The Cabin
All our cabins at Ponderosa Place feature vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and log accents. Kitchens have everything you need to cook except ovens... Stove tops, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee pot, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils are provided. Each cabin has AC units to help you cool down as well as cove heat if you are visiting in the cooler months. All linens and towels are provided along with basic soaps.

Outside Space
Cool off in the shared back yard with gentle log swing and seating area all under our huge willow tree. Or stretch your legs and let the kids burn some energy off in the two shared large front yards! There is a swing set for the kiddos, and 2 firepits for evening enjoyment.

Located just a few blocks off the main street in Custer you can walk to the grocery store along with shopping and restaurants!

The place was very clean. Exactly as listed. Lots of towels and huck to hang which always lack at other places. Awesome view of mountains and fun walk to the DT. Easy check in and was very helpful and responsive when we needed an item.

Great place for a family to stay

Great space for a family of 5 to stay- very clean, easy to check in and out and the kids loved the swing set and fire pit areas. Would definitely come back.

Great location!

This property was affordable and let us stay in central location to be able to tour Mount Rushmore, Customer State Park and the nearby caves. Custer Wolf is a great restaurant as well to try.

Space as described, probably a bit more spacious then expected for this 2 bedroom cabin. In the "city" but was very quiet just a few streets off the main road. Good outdoor spaces! Surprised by the nice hiking trail just a few blocks away (Big Rock Trailhead). Easy drive or just walk a few blocks to the grocery store (Dakotamart).

Ponderosa place

Sturgis Bike Week

Very nice place to stay. Owner was very attentive to any/all our requests. The inside was immaculately clean and plenty of space for 2 couples. Location is close to so many of the attraction. Made for nice daily rides .

Great Place to stay in Custer

The Eagle Cabin was just as described and we enjoyed it tremendously. Comfortable beds, soft towels and a very clean place to return to after a busy day. We traveled with our grandson and he loved the swings and the large yard. I only wish the knives were sharper.

Cute little cabin is Custer

We very much enjoyed our stay! Very clean and we had everything we needed. Was a little small for us with 4 adults and one baby but it was super nice that there is a futon in the living room! Would recommend this place for sure. It is within walking distance to a lot of places in Custer!

Perfection!

We loved our stay in Custer here! This was such a treat compared to a regular hotel room. We had our own space for our family as well as a kitchen to make meals. It was so easy to check in and checkout. We will stay here again any time we are in the area!

A good stay in Custer

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was convenient as we were able to walk to restaurants and the grocery store was close by. We were a block from the Mickelson Trail which made it easy to get in a run.
