Large one bedroom 800 sq. ft. upstairs apartment in the middle of the beautiful Black Hills. Extra large bedroom with 2 queen beds, sofa bed in great room--sleeps up to 6. Fully equipped kitchen with full size stove & refrigerator, microwave, slow cooker, coffee maker & toaster. Private building and entrance. Gas & charcoal grills and picnic table. Our stay at Laramie Bluffs was so comfortable and our hosts were so welcoming. We would definitely recommend the accommodations to friends and family and others. It was the perfect launching place for all our adventures, and centrally located.

Black Hills Visit

Laramie Bluffs is a top-notch place to stay. The property is very well maintained, quiet, private lodging located within minutes of Custer, SD, in addition to being within a half hour drive of Crazy Horse Monument, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Hill Cities' 1880 Trains and many other attractions. My wife and I stayed there 9 years ago. The property was as clean and well maintained as was during our previous visit.

Beautiful Black Hills location

Beautiful location. Lovely apartment to return to after a day of exploring and hiking. Linda and Gary are kind and answered all our questions. The Black Hills and Badlands are breathtaking. Hope to return again soon.

Spring Break

My husband, son and I had a fantastic week in Custer. This location is perfect and Linda was readily available and always very helpful. Our first time to South Dakota was beautiful and fun!

Our third time at Laramie Bluffs!

We were excited to return. The last stay was 8 years ago. This was our third time staying in this perfect, peaceful home. The location is perfect-very close to Custer state park, Crazy Horse memorial, and Jewel cave. We love the kitchen set up and the outdoor dining space. It’s so quiet and relaxing here. Linda and Gary are incredibly kind and there to give good information. We will return again as we really enjoyed our visit!

Our Trip

The rental property was excellent and perfectly located for all possible outings. Centrally located for day trips to The Badlands, Devils Tower, Spearfish, Belle Fourche, Deadwood and all the local sites like Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, and the caves.

Nicely appointed, cutely decorated, serene setting, up a dirt road 3 miles from town. So peaceful. Beds including the sofa bed, were comfy. Bathroom needed more of a deep cleaning, but not bad. Nice TV with streaming sx. Window AC did the trick in the bedroom. Everything one needs to cook. Loved climbing around the rocks in the backyard. Picnic & fire pit area included! Will stay again.

Great place to stay

This property was easy to get to. It was clean and had everything's we needed. Children (7and 9) enjoyed the side yard to play and board games inside when it was cold. Highly recommend!

The perfect spot for our fall getaway!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this property. It was our second visit here as we had stayed here several years ago. We had lots of space for the two of us, comfortable beds and a kitchen to bring or make meals at the rental unit. It was also so close to all of the attractions we wanted to visit.
