"The Room was clean; it had a smell that I couldn't place but overall quiet. Once you get out of your room, I was on the second floor, you don't hear a whole lot of commotion from the casino just below you. Once on the first floor, smoking is allowed in the casino, then you can smell and hear the atmosphere. I'm not a gambler, so the amenities weren't used like that. however, the food was great. Apart from there being literally not many options otherwise around."

"The resort was just as beautiful in person as it was online. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Renting a boat and jet skis were easy. We did have several of us who reserved spa treatments that were last-minute canceled due to absent staff, and none of the rooms had a microwave so we reheated our leftovers with a blow dryer. Other than that, all the dining options were satisfactory (we ate at Doc's and The Anchor), and we'll definitely be coming back."

"We had a great time at this property. It was clean and very nice. The kitchen was well stocked. A few things to note: hot tub was too hot to get into. After texting the owner we were able to get the temp down by leaving the cover off for a while. Past problems with septic system had them place a do not flush any paper sign on the toilet, so kind of inconvenient there. the upstairs bedrooms were pretty warm even though they had placed fans blow into both rooms. Mind you it was over 100 both days we were there. Other than those few things we had a wonderful stay. Thanks!"
