This is a good weekend getaway. It is about 10 min drive to lake Titisee. in a small quiet german town. Proprietor is a great chef that will prepare amazing meals and is willing to customize your order. He and his wife speek great English. There were some negative points. The walls are paper thin we could hear the next rooms every move( The people staying there were quiet). Our TV didn't work (we did not really care we were there for the outdoors).

Hotel Goldener Knopf

The hotel is in a lovely location next to the square. The hotel itself is nice. It has been renovated last year due to a fire. The bedrooms are hit and miss as regards size, some are very small but bathrooms are great and loads of very hot water. Breakfast is lovely and fresh, great choice and the staff are lovely and very friendly. Check in and check out very good, no ques. hotel WIFI is poor and needs to be improved as no excuse for poor wifi in 2020.Overall a pleasant stay. BTW in summer...
