It was founded by Lewis Adams, a former slave, and George W. Campbell, a former slave owner. Adams asked that an educational institution for blacks be established. Loved our stay!

We loved our stay! Property was exactly as listed. Plenty of room, clean, had basic necessities available if you forgot anything, and peaceful neighborhood. Anytime we are in the area will stay here for sure!

Lovely, peaceful spot. Enjoyed the porch surrounded by pines, oaks, and maples and watched 5 deer eating next door! Our only issue was the accuracy of the address listed on vrbo. According to the HOA and our gps, “circle “ should not be in the address.

The condo was lovely, really enjoyed the porch. Two small suggestions...a darker curtain at the kitchen window, and hangers.Otherwise, it was perfect.

Great vrbo

Our stay at Amanda’s place was fantastic from start to finish. Check-in was seamless, and communication with Amanda was a breeze, she was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way.The home was spotless and fully stocked with all the necessities — from toiletries to supplies for washing clothes and dishes. The kitchen had plenty of space and everything we needed to prepare meals comfortably. Both bedrooms were generously sized and featured their own attached bathrooms, offering privacy and convenience for everyone.One of our favorite features was the large enclosed patio, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors in a private setting. The Wi-Fi was strong and easy to connect to, and the home is located in a great community with excellent amenities, including a pool and hot tub.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again.
