Great Cabin

If you like being in the mountains and woods, this is your place. Second visit here with 3 other couples. Poppy’s Retreat is ideal for our golf trip stay.

We loved our stay. Amazing cabin. Very secluded. Nice and comfortable place for our family as we were attending a family wedding in Dahlonega. Would recommend.

Impressed with cleanliness of cabin. Roomy, much room to spread out. We enjoyed our stay, can’t wait to come back. The road to get to the cabin is not for the faint of heart! Great place.

Perfect for family

Great cabin! Very clean, which was very important with two infants. Stair gate make it a safe environment for babies. Wonderful porches with plenty of tables and chairs! Beds were comfy!

Great Cabin!

Really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Clean, roomy (needs an extra sofa in the living room. Not enough seating for 8 people - only drawback), had eveything we needed! Great area, close to wineries and brewery.

Perfect Getaway

We did a girls weekend and the house was great, it slept us all comfortably and was clean and nice. The road getting to the house was a little narrow and steep but worth the drive.

Annual girls’ trip!

Loved the cabin! Clean and cozy! Well stocked!!! We did have some trouble finding drivers…. Would recommend setting up drivers (if needed) prior to visiting! Hot tub was a great added touch! No complaints from these high maintenance ladies!!! 😀

Fantastic!

This home was absolutely perfect for our long weekend. The house was immaculate and well stocked. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our favorite place was spending time on the screened porch. We would definitely recommend this property and although the location was a bit remote, would return again! Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you’re looking for a nice clean cabin thats close to great wineries and downtown, this is the place for you. The cabin was clean and we loved sitting on the screened in porch for our morning coffee. The cabin is easy to get to if you follow the directions sent by the rental company. It’s definitely hilly, so be prepared for that. Another great plus is that everyone room/sleeping area had its own bathroom. We were all very pleased with this cabin and would definitely recommend it.

Roomy with Great Views

With 9 people from 9 months to 74 years, we used every available space from bedrooms, bathrooms, porches, and kitchen. Because we picked up two teens from Camp Glisson, we were happy to have great laundry facilities (we brought our own detergent and dryer sheets). It rained almost the whole weekend but we were able to tour Consolidated Gold Mine and see Amicalola Falls during a break in the weather. We watched a little TV but mostly played games on the screened-in porch. We cooked breakfast every morning, ate lunch in Dahlonega, and swapped leftovers for suppers. The road into the cabin was a little tricky in the pouring rain, but we loved the remote privacy. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The driveway was a little scary at first, but after a couple of times, we were used to it. The only part of the stay that affected me was the refrigerator making a loud squeaky sound intermittently. We slept in the loft and it woke us up a few times. Other than that blip, the cabin was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. And we loved having our own bathroom. Definitely a huge plus! We all decided that we would definitely stay here again, but next time rotate who stays in the loft😊
