Hampton Inn Saskatoon South

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. We stayed a night, left for a small town funeral and stayed again on the way back. Right by grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We always travel with white noise machines and ear plugs - recommended, just in case there is a family with small children staying above. Breakfast was awesome. Can ask for gluten free bread. Staff friendly and accommodating - enjoyed the cookies (I believe if check in before 5pm) and sometimes there are breakfast cookies when checking out. The gym had Star Track equipment (3 treadmills, a recumbent bike, an eliptical and/or a bike, as well as a full rack of free weights and a bench. No water cooler, but towels to wipe yourself and the equipment down. Didn't get to the pool, but it seemed well kept. We will probably come back here again if available."

"Overall experience was perfect! However, the Youtube, Amazon Prime, and Netflix were not working when we stayed here. The staff were helpful. They were able to send a maintenance and he tried fixing it but he did not come back to finish fixing it. But all was good as we just stayed 1 night and don’t mind not having it working."

"Staff excellent. It’s close to the bridge and river and walkable downtown and RUH. Free shuttle was great on weekdays, busy on weekends. I did notice they need to card lock the elevator because people are coming in off the streets and take elevator up to the ice machines."

"The stay was great. However neighborhood is rough. I wish there would’ve been more information ahead of time - there is an adjacent parking lot to the hotel that I paid for as it appears to be part of the hotel. However not only was it not, the staff quickly told me that it was a dangerous part of town and that they recommended not leaving my vehicle in that lot. Unfortunately I had to pay twice for parking as a result of my mistake but I was glad the staff was so upfront of the petty crime surrounding the hotel."
