"The hotel is off the main road and a 5-10 minute walk to the the main street with restaurants, shopping, beaches etc. Hotel room is simple, nice and clean. Hotel staff is accomodating, always have a smile, are welcoming and happy :) Booked for 1 night and ended up extending for the length of my time in Siargao. Overall loved the hotel!"

"It’s quiet, staff are ok; the only thing I did not like about the property is check time which is 11am, 10:45am a staff rang the bell and reminded me that I have to check out at 11am which I knew, it seems like they want to get me out of the room quick so that they can get it ready for the next guest which I understand. They should have wait until 11am before they tell the guest that it’s check out time. Other than that I’m ok with the facility "
"It was really clean and the hot water worked really good. The restaurant was good as well, especially for breakfast. We had the pancakes and the omelette was really good with the three cheeses. The weight staff were very friendly and helpful at all times."

"All the staff were amazing. The rooms were immaculate. The dining experience was perfect and the food was delicious. The pool was perfect. The scenery around the hotel was wonderful. The grounds were kept up. The owner even checked on us occasionally. We can’t wait to come back."

"First off...Mitch was an absolute top notch host! Very accommodating and a wealth of knowledge for us 1st time travelers to Siargao! The grounds were beautiful, well kept and relaxing finishes! There was a little construction going on next door but it didn't bother is much. The location is about 5 minutes tuk tuk ride to General Luna city center where you'll find LOTS of shops, restaurants, bars, wellness centers etc! Book your stay with Mitch at Casa Basa, enjoy Siargao by day and a relaxing swim in their new pool during the evening hours! You'll enjoy your accommodations without a doubt! =) "
