Wonderful!

We had an amazing time at this place! There were lots of dishes and seating for our group. We had a wide range of ages for my mom's 80th birthday weekend. Many from our group commented about how nice the property was. The large backyard was a hit. The event space was nice. First night we had the doors open. 2nd evening we closed it up and used the air conditioners. Tad smaller than I was expecting but it was still wonderful! The house had lots of seating for people to chit chat with each other. It was also close to lots of shopping and food places.

Perf Wedding Day!

Property was beautiful and was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The pictures do not do the venue justice, every room has gorgeous rich history in it, with unique decorations and nicknacks all over. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything one could ever need to cook, and was very well organized and BEAUTIFUL.

A must stay house

My team and I were blown away by this house. The history, the beauty, the nostalga, you could feel it all! Also comfortable beds and up to date appliances. I suggest this place highly!

Lively Stay

This enchanting house was perfect for a dinner party with my friends and I. The kitchen has everything! And it is wonderfully set up to have a medium sized group share laughs over fresh homemade food. The beds were surprisingly comfy and, the back yard is beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

Great stay in Wylie

Perfect size for our group of 11. Very close to restaurants and shops. When we checked in there was an issue with the air conditioner and the owner came over right away and when he was unable to resolve the issue he called a contractor who was very prompt and resolved the issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely time at the Olde House

We had a lovely time at the Olde House. We rented the event space to hold my wife's 50th birthday party. Everything felt mostly in order and ready for us. It would have been nice to have had better pictures of the event space. Clearer instructions on how to unlock everything, and how to use the heaters in the event space would have made everything a little more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great time.

Great venue

This was the perfect place to have out of town family stay in conjunction with my daughters high school graduation. It was the perfect size. Everyone had space. Kitchen is amazing. Everyone said all the beds were great. Backyard is perfect to enjoy after the sun goes down. Really a great , unique place to celebrate.

The Olde House was the perfect place to have a small wedding. The kitchen was fantastic. It accommodated all of our needs and then some and boasting with added amenities. Colton was fantastic to work with.

Rehearsal Dinner for son getting married!

We are from out of state. This was the perfect venue for hosting a rehearsal dinner in the event center next door and a place for my sons groomsmen to stay. In the heart of town. Close to everything we needed. Plenty of space for everyone. Ample parking! Well stocked commercial kitchen and commercial ice maker.

Fabulous, spacious property. We used for a wedding and had lots of kitchen space to get food ready. The rooms were spacious and the two extra half baths were nice! Wonderful old house charm! Recommend opting for the wedding package for the venue addition with all the tables and chairs, ice chests, and air conditioned/heated space which came in handy! Most reasonable priced venue we could find in the area with the ability to use as a venue and have rooms for our guests to stay! We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend The Olde House!

Sister and Mom 2nd reunion

This is a great place for people to gather, cook, eat and just hang out. the 2, 4 star choices are only because we had 2 questions and concerns during our stay and sent two messages of which we never got a reply. luckily it was not an urgent situation. The house is on a busy street and we heard sirens off and on all night. otherwise it was great. Thank you.

Perfection

I had a retreat with a group of 10 ladies. Our theme was realizing that we are princesses in the Kingdom of God. This whole place seemed royal and was perfect for creating royal atmosphere. The table was perfect for our use. We enjoyed the kitchen, which was larger than I expected.That downstairs bedroom and bathroom were so awesome! The upstairs rooms were beautiful, too. My only complaint is that the piano was out of tune and the sustain peddle didn't work. We use a piano in our ministry time, so we would have brought a keyboard with us if we would have known.But, it worked out in the end. I really hope we get to use this facility again in the future!

Wonderful property

This was a really a nice place for our family to meet and celebrate my wife's birthday. My wife and her sisters really loved this antique home and it had the perfect dining table and kitchen for our group of 7 (adult siblings and spouses). My wife was excited because this home reminded us of a time when we lived in a smaller early 1900's craftsman home. The kitchen is really amazing. The only drawback of this stay was that I arrived after dark and finding the lockbox was a bit rough. Colton said where it was but I wasn't looking below knee level on the backside of the porch railing. But with that said, I think this is a wonderful home for those who enjoy and appreciate antique period architecture and Colton responded promptly to my questions. As a suggestion for any future remodels it might be nice to make the downstairs bedroom bathroom entrance and space handicap accessible. Retro fitting old homes is tough but this would really help your guests with limited mobility. Thank you for opening up your amazing home. We would definitely recommend it to others.
