Awesome Place
Great place for a get away. The oasis of the backyard is a dream. The weather did not cooperate with us for our time there, but it was a nice feature to wake up to each morning. the location is in a quiet neighborhood. Close to many restaurants & shopping. Would Definity stay again, especially in the warmer time of the year to enjoy the back yard. Accommodations of the house are perfect, many details and very clean.

Fantastic ambiance with superb hosts!
This property is beautiful! We loved the home-away-from-home feeling of it. The hot tub was a bonus, and we spent most of our evenings in it. The hosts were outstanding with communication. I can't recommend this property highly enough!

Better than I expected
We came to the Dallas area to settle my dads affairs. Location was perfect to zip all the places we needed to go. The home was perfect for our needs to wind down either on a day we had nothing to do or evenings when returning. The kitchen has everything you will need other than your food. I can notsay enough about Eddie and his home. Thank you for a WONDERFUL place Eddie, we enjoyed our stay tremendously!!

5 Star All The Way
So cozy, very clean, nicely refreshing, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The home had all the little extras to make our family summer getaway a wonderful time together! We found the location to be an easy drive to many of the DFW attractions like the new MeowWolf and family friendly Perot Museum of Nature and Science; and our lake day to Lake Lewisville! Gotta do the jet skis at Sam’s Dock in Hidden Cove Park and Marina! What a blast! And after a long hot day, it was great to come home to the main attraction- the beautiful backyard living space. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax in the cool clean swimming pool and enjoy burgers on the grill. I have to say the hosts were super nice and great communicators! They made sure we had everything for a memorable stay! Thank you so much for sharing your special place!!

Very nice home in family friendly neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay! The owners have made the check in process so simple and there are detailed instructions for everything the property offers. You can tell they care about the guests having a great stay. We have two toddlers and so I needed to move some decor off of coffee tables but the furnishings are comfortable. The primary suite is large and fit an air mattress they have available plus our pack-n-play so our daughter and her family could all fit nicely in their own space. The outdoor pool area is beautiful! It’s a 5 min walk to a great park with a good playground and access to a wonderful miles long paved trail for biking or walking. It was an easy 20 minute drive to the Dallas World Aquarium. We would stay here again!

The house was perfect for our visit. It was clean, organized, and included everything we needed for our stay. The backyard was so comfortable and made us feel like we were on vacation. Weekend family trip.
Beautiful house with a lot to offer, more then we expected and very please with out stay. House was very well stocked with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which was wonderful after a long day of traveling the area. Would definitely recommend this house and area is safe and quiet.

Amazing!
We had a wonderful stay. We were very grateful for the hot tub and pool since it was pretty cold during our stay and the backyard is gorgeous. The hosts were extremely helpful, very responsive and answered any questions we had right away. The house was super clean, well stocked and has many upgraded amenities. All of us had a great time and we will definitely stay here again when we come this way.

It's all what you are looking for

Overall our stay was really great. The house was so cute and the backyard is stunning! Lots of space to enjoy inside as well. Everything was labeled well and easy. This home would be great for a staycation for a family or couple! If You have a larger group (more than 6) parking can definitely be tricky! We had an amazing experience and communication with the property owner was easy! Loved it!

Good place for family time
The house was a great place for a fun family visit, comfortable and a lot of room for family. The pool and the outside patio was the main draw to this property for our stay and overall it was a good time. The main thing I would suggest would be to better manage the pool chemistry. There were times when we were unable to swim for a few hours at a time while the chemical levels were appropriately balanced. The host was responsive but swim time delays were unfortunate. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Lederers!

We loved hosting you and the family. Agreed that this Texas heat wave coupled with lots of people swimming all day, does require more care. We were so happy to have our pool guy come over 3 times during your week stay to keep everything sparkling clean for you and the family! Yes, while not required, they do suggest waiting an hour before swimmimg when introducing new chemicals. So thankful for you and the family and please come see us again!

Wonderful Experience
My husband and I booked this house for our anniversary, and it was just the getaway we needed. Beautiful pool and relaxing hot tub, close proximity to tons of restaurants and things to do all over the metroplex, or just stay in and watch tv. The hosts were so kind, generous with extra little touches, and fast to respond to all communication. Very happy campers!

Read the Listing Carefully
We had a great time, but apparently didn't read the listing accurately. The pool and hot tub are extra! Just because the listing says it in the title, doesn't mean it's included. Also, there are only two real beds, so anyone else is on a blow-up mattress or couch. So, make sure you know!

Suggestion: When you rent a 2 bedroom house, understand that any extra beds would need to be blow up mattresses or pull out couches. :) That should not be a mystery when you arrive. Heated Pool: 100 % of all HOME listings that offer heated pools offer that as an OPTION; and ours is quite low compared to others. You can validate this by searching any other heated pool options. We do understand that while you had a 5 star experience, those couple of misunderstandings slightly effective your overall rating. Great getaway, home away from home!
I spent 2 and a half weeks visiting my daughter who was studying at UNT in Feb 2022. The house is very homey, mainly because the owners live there often and only rent on occasion. The highlight is the backyard, which includes a beautiful pool and hot tub but includes many well appointed luxuries such as a hammock, lounge chairs, koi pond, lighting, bbq, decorations and seclusion. The house itself was also well furnished, spaced out nicely and included a family room w TV and stereo system, a study so that you can work comfortably, a living room w comfortable seating and a fireplace and 2 bedrooms, which were equipped w tvs that included fire sticks. The beds were comfortable, although a little soft for my tastes. The professional cleaning crew sanitized the home well. Kitchen was well stocked and fully functional. Neighborhood has an amazing walking path/trail that goes for a few miles and into other neighborhoods. Very quiet and residential. Eddie, the owner was in contact throughout as there was an unusual cold spell that knocked out the power in pool/hot tub and he tirelessly contacted several pool companies until one was able to come out and fix the problem. There was nearby shopping at Walmart, several decent restaurants and about 15 minutes from historic downtown area, a new corporate area in west part of town, just a few minutes from another very nice park and 30 minutes from Dallas. I was surprised that the trip to Denton was closer to 40 minutes. All in all it is a great house, w a very communicative owner. If you need to be in the area, I would highly recommend staying at this property as opposed to a small hotel.

Impeccable home!
I had a very rough start to my mini vacation but finally getting to Eddie's home made the stay far more relaxing than I expected after such a bad day. Check in was very easy and the home was exactly as shown in the photo as well as clean. I usually opt to clean places I stay at just to be sure but here I honestly didn't feel I had to here. There wasn't a speck of dust, fingerpints or stains anywhere in the home. The cleaners did a very great job! The home was stacked with most amenities (tissue, detergent, towels, condiments, etc) so I overpacked and didn't need to pull out most of my things to be comfortable. There was also some snacks and wine left out as a gift well but I didn't partake as I don't drink alcohol. The best part of the home for me was the pool/hot tub and how quiet the neighborhood was. The area is gorgeous like a resort both day and night and the hot tub was fantastic for my stressful stay. Honestly hated coming home as I have no hot tub to relax in T__T Eddie was very quick to respond to any questions I had in less than 10 mins and was willing to accommodate my travel mates senior needs (they sadly couldn't make it), for a earlier check in and later check out (sadly couldn't use either, ugh airlines). So I really do hope I can stay at his home again and would recommend his home to anyone.

Lovely home ideal for our working remote family vacation!
Every thing we needed for our Semi working vacation. We enjoyed the pool everyday, actually a few times a day! Great location close to groceries and dinning. Our stay was excellent! This property was perfect for my family and the kids loved the pool. Everything is labeled which made it very easy to find everything. The owners have every last detail figured out. Kroger is just around the corner and very easy for shopping. House was very clean and seemed bigger than in the pictures. While this was absolutely perfect for my family, I would say to be careful if you still have curious little ones. The house is very nicely decorated with a lot of items that could be breakable. My kids are past this stage so we were fine. If that part does worry anyone, I'd still recommend this place, but get the insurance. Eddie was an absolute pleasure to deal with every step of the way. SO responsive and helpful. This was our first VRBO experience, and they set the bar pretty high.

The owner and his wife are very nice people and were very responsive. The neighborhood is a nice, quiet area with amenities close. They accept pets which is important as we have a dog. . The house and property are quite dated, however, and there were mechanical problems (slow drains, leaking pool, one oven doesn't work). The property is not as nice as the pictures portray it. It was OK but not what we expected.

Paul, TEXAS FREEZE – WOSRT IN 100 YEARS We certainly appreciate all reviews but I must say that yours is a bit harsh given the circumstances and our very fast response to every question or need. I certainly do not want to come off defensive BUT we do have a 5 star rating over the past 3 years (from every quest) because our home is so lovely and our backyard is private, beautiful, and relaxing. Receiving less than that effects our ratings; which are very important to us. TEXAS FREEZE: Please remember that we had just come out of the worst Texas Freeze in 100 Years. (WORST EVER) It caused devastating damage to the entire state; I owned 2 properties and both had burst pipes. Some Homes were completely destroyed and a homeowner was very lucky to get through it without damage. As I communicated before you came, we had broken pipes from the freeze which required emergency repairs. The slower drain and leaky pool (needing to add water every few days) were now found to be directly related to broken lines from this storm. Both are currently under repair. If you recall, whenever you called, with any question or need, we responded within the hour and came to the house whenever you needed us or a service professionals. Since your stay, we have had the insurance company and a leak detection company out to do a full analysis. There were a total of 4 leaks found which are scheduled for repair. This was a crazy time BUT please remember, as communicated, we had handy men out to do emergency repairs to accommodate bookings. It was costly, but we certainly did all we could before, during, and now after scheduled bookings. Again, we certainly appreciated you coming and staying with us and we appreciated your understanding of using an alternate bathroom for longer showers and adding water to the pool every few days. Home away from home
We booked this home after canceling our Christmas trip to a resort due to Covid restrictions. We were looking for a place where the kids could play games and swim. Despite the weather being 40 and rainy the kids were able to swim in the heated pool and hot tub which were nice and toasty warm. The home was cleaned so well and everything was in order. In considering booking this property for your stay you will be pleasantly surprised by the homey feeling. Linens, spices, soaps, and paper products are supplied and dishware is provided for inside and outside. My only caution would be if you have children between the ages one and two. This rental is someone's house and so there are spaces marked private. This could get the best of a one or two year old's curiosity and cause parents a little stress trying to keep them out of spaces. That being said, Eddie and Danella are super understanding and accommodating hosts and I would anticipate them being understanding and accommodating to any accidents that would happen. You will love the safe neighborhood, warm pool, and SUPERIOR cleanliness of this home!

Xmas 2020
2 adult friends were not able to join us as planned but we had a nice time with in-town family. Had lunch by the pool, 74 degrees & sunshine. Lovely home, quiet neighborhood, friendly owner.

Wonderful home!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We were traveled to the area to work on our daughter’s new fixer upper. It was so nice to return each evening to the house - it was so relaxing and restorative. The house is beautiful, the amenities are plentiful and the hosts are what helps set this home apart from others. If given the opportunity, we would love to stay here again!

Peaceful backyard
When I was looking for a place to stay in the Plano area, I came across this property and chose it because of the backyard. We were not disappointed upon arrival as the house was just lovely and so was the backyard. Felt welcomed and appreciated.

Suburban Oasis
Firstly, I can’t say enough about how awesome the property is. We were looking for a fun change of scenery during the pandemic, and we found it. Everything you’d need for a home-away-from-home type getaway was here. Large space, plenty of amenities, and of course the outdoor space was amazing. Eddie and Danella were the BEST hosts. Their place feels lived in, and cozy, and felt like a home, not some starkly staged house they use for income. That’s what we loved most. 14/10 would recommend.
