Now to Dec 14 off season special Local to AP/LT Homer Stone and Little Rock Pond. Minutes to VSF and Manchester. Great little cabin back to back with the forest minutes to hike and go to the swimming holes. Emerald Lake. Great patio with fire pit. Ski Bromley, Stratton, Okemo, Pico Killington all a short distance. CHILDREN UNDER 12 NO CHARGE.
ALL PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. . FAILURE TO HAVE YOUR PET PRE-APPROVED WILL RESULT IN A CANCELED RESERATION.
45.00 pet fee for 1 pet for your stay. 60.00 pet fee for 2 pets max.

We are a 12 month vacation rental back to back with the Grn Mtn National Forest. Minutes to the Manchester Shopping outlets
We have a beautiful charming log cabin right outside the Green Mountain National Forest. This is a fantastic outdoor vacation or a quick get away.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms with the downstairs bedroom with a full the up stairs loft bedroom has a full and a single. Living room Kitchen combo and full bath. The kitchen is full loaded with pots, pans all flatware and dishes, toaster, microwave convections and Kreug coffee maker with a great variety of green mtn coffee all on the house. The living room has cable TV . We been told it is a old time cabin with all of modern days amenities. We have a great firepit outside gas BBQ with all wood and gas supplied.

Fall Break

We had a wonderful stay over a long weekend during Fall Break! Communication was great and the cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3, plenty of room and everything we needed to feel right at home for 3 days. The owners were amazing with some great recommendations for local hikes, they showed our son around the property which included an amazing treehouse, and even had fresh blueberry muffins for our last day! Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

The cabin was cozy and well-supplied....and we appreciated the snacks and the fresh-baked blueberry muffins! The hosts gave us all the info for the xabin and surrounding areas. We loved sitting on the porch and by the firepit!! Appreciated the help with the fire! Would stay again!! and and the conversation!

Great location if you want to ski different resorts (Okemo, Stratton and Bromley) all within a 20-35 drive. Cozy cabin, as described in photos and description by the owners. Easy in and out, comfortable and safe. Had a good visit and appreciate the owners leaving out snacks and muffins for us.

A little piece of paradise in South Vermont

We had an amazing time in this cottage...it is exactly as it looks from the picture and nothing is missing. I enjoyed so much sipping my tea on the porch sitting in the rocking chair, and at night Terry prepared the fire for us so that we could enjoy a Unique moment under the stars... I am so looking forward to coming back!

Lovely Town and Hosts

The owners of this cabin were absolutely delightful to chat with and gave us great advice about places to hike and places to get breakfast and dinner. The cabin is tiny, but we understood that going in. It contained everything we needed and the hosts even supplied snacks, coffee, and half and half. We are a 50’s couple with one dog and it suited us perfectly. Recommendations to others traveling to Danby:White Birch Bakery for coffee and breakfast sandwiches and pastries - delicious and friendly staffWhite Rocks recreation area- park just before the iron bridge and walk down to the water, you won’t regret it Manchester for the dining and one of the best bookstores we’ve ever visited and we LOVE bookstoresLittle Rock Pond-the hike is easy and well worth the time, don’t skip the loop around the pondDorset Farmer’s Market-Sunday mornings at the general store, yum

Beautiful and Amazing!!!

Last minute getaway for my wife and our 3 little girls. So much snow on the ground and Terry had it plowed and very nice for us. The fire pit made for a great time for Smores! The cabin was just big enough for the 5 of us! If you are looking to get away for a short period or a couple weeks, you cannot go wrong here! We loved it! We are definitely going to be contacting for a summertime getaway. Thanks!

Cozy and relaxing place

We fell in love with this cozy cabin. The pictures shown in here don't do justice to how beautiful this cabin is. So much better in person. It was just perfect for a ski trop. The property managers were just terrific people. Very welcoming, attentive and informative. Our last night we got some delicious blueberry muffins. So pleased with out stay. Thank you.

Exceptional Host!

The hosts are really nice people and very accommodating. We brought a dinner dish that wouldn't fit in the convection oven, but Terry & Lori saved the dinner and cooked our enchiladas (to perfection) in their home oven! Then the next day they brought fresh-baked blueberry muffins! Our kids loved the treehouse and rope swing even though temperatures were in the single digits. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. A little smaller than I envisioned, based on the photos, but a good kind of 'cozy'. Cheers to the hosts!

Very nice, clean and quiet cabin. A little smaller than expected, but that wasn't anything to downgrade the stay. Lori was great to work with and my daughter loved the swing outside. Patio area was nice and comfortable. Had everything we needed for the stay.

Spectacular Beauty, Singular Hospitality

The cabin is larger than I expected; it is essentially a small house, and proved supremely comfortable. Vermont gets *cold* in the winter, but we always felt cozy inside. The decor, while simple, is tasteful and evokes a Longfellowian image of a comfortable country retreat. Shower and bath is *hot* and revitalizing. We hiked up the Appalachian trail and supplied our necessities at the Country Store, both within easy walking distance. Difficult hike in snowy and icy conditions, but well worth it for the views alone. Probably the most beautiful winter visage I’ve ever seen. What truly made the trip unforgettable was the singular hospitality and amiability of the hosts, however. Not even in Japan does one get that level of generosity, warmth, and Samaritan spirit. The blueberry muffins in particular, especially after 13 hours of hiking, were delicious. The hostess was even so kind as to give us a ride back to the airport. One will be coming again — though perhaps in warmer times!

Cozy Cabin!

Cozy cabin in beautiful Mt. Tabor. We were a family of 3 with two dogs. Space was a little tight for us with the two dogs, but is perfect for 3-4 people. Outdoor space nice as well. Location was convenient to Manchester and Rutland areas and close to great hiking trails. Owners live on the property and are very friendly and accommodating. Great experience overall!
