"I have stayed in this hotel several times. It is charming and different from most I frequent--in a positive way. My room (both this last visit and the one prior) had some issues. My room this visit was very noisy like someone was moving tables or dropping things overhead. Also, activity in the hallway (talking and doors slamming) was too loud. Perfect location in Charleston, great staff, interesting rooms and activities, on the positive."

"The staff was great at this hotel. I do think the hotel is a little dated and some of the room could use some renovations (bathroom). The sofa bed definitely needs to be replaced"

"The location is terrific. The hotel is older, but it has been fairly well maintained. We had a pizza as a snack when we arrived and it was wonderful. We would go back the next time we go to Charleston."
